  1. Probably not, but it was all a bit handbags ultimately. I don't think he intended to knock his glasses off, but you can't raise your hands to anyone.
  2. He's a much bigger gamble than RVN. Hot headed, never managed in this country, and his glory days are a while ago now. Ruud has recent experience in the Prem, is a nice guy, and could potentially be a top manager.
  3. Sounds good in theory but we're already 6 points adrift of safety (with GD), and our next 9 games are: Leicester (A) Man Utd (H) Spurs (A) Forest (H) Newcastle (A) Chelsea (A) Arsenal (H) Villa (H) Liverpool (A) The new manager is going to have to have an instant impact and some luck to pick up points in those games, never mind wins. And you don't turn around a defensively organisational mess and set-piece calamity in just a week or two.
  4. I think we're already going down with or without his help tbh. We have too much to do as we left it so late to sack O'Neil.
  5. We'd largely moved away from Mendes in the last couple of seasons, when we appointed Matt Hobbs as our Sporting Director. He went shopping in South America and came back with a few gems. His British signing have been mostly poor though. This will be the first appointment helped by Mendes since Bruno Lage
  6. Yep hang on a sec I'll just ask her to get dressed.
  7. The best and funniest thing about his career is that he was all set to take over at Everton in 2022, only for their fans to be in uproar because they wanted Frank Lampard instead
  8. We have gone back to Mendes to help us find a manager, and the deal for Vitor Pereira is already done. Who has apparently paid his own club compensation at Al-Shahab in the Saudi League in order to take the job. He's desperate to have a crack at the PL apparently. Just sorting the contracts out now which should be a formality. Can apparently be quite hot-headed in the Mourinho vibe, but in his case he doesn't care if he talks about it or gets into trouble. Even with his bosses or players. It's a big gamble but that's the position we have found ourselves in now. I've no idea whether he's any good, but Fenerbace fans don't like him much from his time there. He has had a lot of clubs and did well at places and won a few trophies but that was a while ago now. https://www.tugascout.com/news/2024/12/15/a-recap-of-vitor-pereira-the-frontrunner-to-take-the-helm-at-wolverhampton-wanderers
  9. So far left field he's not even on the betting lists. Must be good then.........!
  10. I still think it'll be Corberan.
  11. It's a public popularity vote. The dancing is largely irrelevant.
  12. I think he was there because he used to work with McKenna at Utd.
  13. Our owners:
  14. With you 100% bhai
  15. Same with sprouts and roast turkey, which is the most boring of meats. Though you can counter that argument with pigs in blankets. I do try and eat those all year round though with any roast, which I don't have that often any way.
  16. That's because they have less of that godawful filling.
  17. They're kind of palatable warm but I'd rather have other stuff before a mince pie.
  18. There is and it was a huge scam that she hasn't owned up to yet. Basically everybody lost all their money apart from a select few pre-ordained people that sold all their currency with everyone else not able to do the same until it was practically worthless. There's talk of class action lawsuits against her with lawyers vulturing round trying to gather up all the people that were scammed.
  19. I guess one solution is that more and more people get solar panels and have battery storage on their homes. That can be pumped back into the grid as and when needed. Whether it's scalable or the numbers needed are viable I have no idea, but we are only a small nation so should be able to make something work with the amount of coastal wind we have available too.
  20. Jeez it never rains but pours eh Izzy? I hope you are coping as well as can be expected and have some family around to share the burden. What a horrible situation from all angles. Stay strong and continue to vent on here if it helps.
  21. Terrible parkers always get their starting position/angle wrong. Makes me laugh watching them shuffle back and forth for 5 mins.
  22. Oatmeal bath? I remember that one from my youth.
  23. You'll beat us easily. We've currently got the mentality of a frightened shrew when it comes to standing up in games. The amount of times we concede early or just after scoring ourselves is very troubling. They apparently did, but then realised that no-one wanted to work under our owners or CEO Jeff Shi (who most Wolves fans despise now). They keep turning the taps on and off and have no clear plans whatsoever. And as mentioned they're not adding any money now, or even spending the money from player sales it seems. We're just a fundamentally badly run club right now.
