  1. well, that's ok.. if we are going to go for a full on charity game with two Leicester sides, im sure the likes of Muzzy or Walsh could make a guest appearance.. some of the others, maybe from thatEra.. Ranieri, depending on if he has employment or not might not think its appropriate to manage another team.. seems like Pearson's full time manager career is over for health reasons so he'd be ok for a game. i'd be happy with either of those three if we could make it happen
  2. Well, you might be right but your stance that this is a gamble is based on your assumption that he will be on a high wage, and that might not necessarily be true...
  3. Whatever you views are on the matter, i don't think it is ever appropriate to boo a teenager at ANY sports event...
  4. MON?
  5. The big one will be the black box. if indeed it was foggy, they will be the only ones that could identify an explosion and it would only be detected by the black box.. ( other copters couldn't have seen the missle trail due to fog) but if the black box is more like " dum de dum de dum. flying flying flying. lots of fog" ahhh a mountain" then that would be conclusive proof...
  6. I think Fury has too much pride to walk away from a rematch...
  7. Well my point was that KDH wasn't considered good enough at his age either... and he's had more exposure to the first team already than what KHD had... so some players grow with the more games they play and its possible Kasey is like that. I favour the idea of him getting a a loan to a champ team that will play him regularly and see how that grabs him.
  8. If Fury truly does think he was robbed and should have won, he wont want anything but the rematch..
  9. I don't think KDH had played for us yet at the same age as McAteer is now... My bad if wrong..
  10. even if the players don't need the money, I think if they had a massive charity match and had a few of the old guys back at the same time, then this could be of benefit to everyone.. give the fans the chance to say a proper goodbye. Might be tricky choosing the manager though! maybe have 2 sides? still would be difficult choosing the managers!
  11. I do agree - timing isnt good.. makes me suspicious too... im assuming the helicopter had a black box so they'll study that. I know people are saying it was the weather and that's what the Iranians are saying too... but he was supposedly in a convoy of 3 helicopters... yet the other two didn't crash Just a few too many unanswered questions , for me..

What an absolute nightmare situation! Just keep being there for her. Just be a ray of sunshine, not a fixer..
  13. I get what you are saying, but if successive managers don't really play someone much then we have to think there could be an issue that would make it detrimental to play him...
  14. Just a side point... if it was indeed an accident, its possible that they could have had their GPS system switched off in the helicopter because potentially this would have made them trackable... https://www.tracplus.com/tracplus-blog/how-to-track-helicopters-using-a-gps-helicopter-tracker
  15. I understand your concerns and agree with them. 'Pleased' may have been the wrong choice of words but seemed a bit more succinct than " they are both as bad as each other" .
  16. If i'm being honest, I'm pleased its both sides and they haven't just focused on one of them... The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court has applied for arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Hamas's leader in Gaza for war crimes. Karim Khan KC said there were reasonable grounds to believe that both men bore criminal responsibility for war crimes and crimes against humanity from at least 7 October 2023. Israeli defence minister Yoav Gallant and Hamas's political leader Ismail Haniyeh, its military chief Mohammed Deif are also wanted for arrest. The ICC, based in The Hague, has been investigating Israel's actions in the occupied territories for the past three years - and more recently the actions of Hamas as well. Mr Netanyahu recently called the prospect of senior Israel figures joining the ICC's wanted list "an outrage of historic proportions". 17. I just dont get why people want to go back to large part of the team that were so awful when we got relegated. Vesty.. Souttar.. both players who could hardly get a game during our most awful season.. why do people want to rely on them in the prem again? CB is our most important position next season, it could be argued...
  18. So what will Fury do in the rematch? What can he do differently? It looks like Fury was more than holding his own in the first 6 rounds, but he either tired, or Usyk clocked him and it changed him. Probably a mix of both. But tactically, he needs to come out and attack a bit more, I think.. he changed what he did against Wilder and it worked well…. But Usyk is Usyk…
  19. GK shirt, surely….
  20. To be fair, it might start to feel like a game of football manager and get a bit boring always winning… might have to switch clubs/ leagues or just go do something else..
  21. Think the only way to stop Man City from winning a 5th title in a row is for them to sign Harry Kane.
