If there's not a shred of hope while it's still mathematically possible, why bother?

Blimey. Give over. I'm disappointed, after tonight. We all are. But this thread, given when Marti was appointed, the resources he had at his disposal and the form we showed last season, is just

Chucked 2 points away there. Probs not going to be promoted with form like this. Is it me, or did we become a massively weaker side after Skipp came on?

I like Luke, but he has to be hooked. His winger has had him on toast all evening and now he's on a yellow and maybe got away with one. I'd like Daka to score and turn it around for him here, abd it WAS a nice assist, but really, would any of us bet on it? James was great first 20 and lovely goal. Bob DCR -for someone who talks big, and whom the manager apparently rates, we've not seen much yet, have we?

It needs to be said that Soumaré had one of his best games for the club last time out (I know,I know, the bar is fairly low) and then he isn't selected this time. It may be rotation, it may be his fitness, it might be broader tactics. It might also be Marti just wanting a different result and changing things to give other players a chance. Fair play to him for mixing it up.

Ruud Van Nihilistlerooy kept on with the same failing selection and formation when we didn't score for **months on end**. Records were set. Marti changes it up after a few draws and people are slagging him off and suggesting he should leave. Just amazing. Anyway, COYB

Julián Carranza joins on loan - Official
Vacamion replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yes he wasn't great last night, but... He arrived at the very end of the window. New club, new language, no pre-season. No one knows how fit he was or, more to the point, how unfit. I said in the other thread that he looked like he was blowing after 10-15 mins on the pitch and that might be why Cifuentes has been starting Ayew and only giving Carranza sub minutes. I wouldn't rush to write Carranza off before he's been given a go at full fitness, having been given time to bed in. -

I'm wondering if Carranza arrived here not fit and they were reluctant to play him for that reason, and that's why Ayew has started. He looked like he was blowing 10 mins into the second half. Carranza didn't add too much this evening, but I don't think we should write off a player who arrived near the deadline and is still finding his feet. -

Controversial opinions: Soumaré was actually one of our best players. Mavididi played alright, was unlucky to be subbed and Monga was, on this occasion, an inferior replacement. The Monga booking was deserved.- 311 replies

Quite enjoying the battle of wills between Drury and Neville about how to say "Gyokeres" In the first half it was "Yerk-air-esh" versus "Gock-urriss" But Neville has now conceded some ground and is going with "Yockeresh" The titanic linguistic struggle is more exciting than the game.

One thing you've learnt from life and wish to pass on.
Vacamion replied to SkidsFox's topic in General Chat
Nobody, not one person on the planet, spent their last moments on their death bed regretting not having worked more hours. I learned after decades of overwork that life is much more important than work. You can nearly always get other work, doing other stuff, elsewhere. If it makes you unhappy, leave. If you learn to think of it as selling your time and commitment for a strictly fixed set of working hours, you'll be a lot happier. I know I was.- 55 replies

You have to say that it would be interesting if Man United fluff this up. Amorim might be gone before Potter.

Here we go. 2-3 after 95 mins....

Not a chance in hell they abandon this. Even if players can swim.

Enzo's put on a second coat. Like he's decorating...

Really easy. Don't want to get a second yellow? Just don't hug the fellah as you tackle him.

What's the Chelsea keeper doing there. He's got an age while it's in the air in his 6 yard box
-
It *looked* very offside.
-
Still think Chelsea can get something in this.
-
That's rough on Blackburn. Playing the whole thing again seems unfair. In games where it's nearly finished, it would be fairer if they finished the last 10 mins with the score set at 1-0 at Portman Road, before the return fixture.

TIL we have a set piece coach. I think that chap needs to step it up for corners, as we had a massive giant towering over a full back marking him for loads of corners and we looked about as threatening as labrador puppies. -
Cifuentes appearing to mouth "Fook Off" at that decision

Cov have some right tiny players.
