Yeah I hate piling it on, but Thomas started in the wrong position, let his man get goal side, fouled him in a way that might have got himself sent off and was then out-muscled to concede a goal. Not great. Otherwise is was just meh. We are waiting for magic from our wingers because we have no real strikers. Again.

The fact that this thread amounts to 3 pages at nearly 10 minutes to the kick off tells me that the selection isn't the most controversial. Either that or people have been bludgeoned into submission by recent games.

So - Defensive set pieces - good Attcking corners - bad. And worth mentioning that attacking direct free kicks haven't really generated much of a frisson of anticipation since Maddison left, which is a shame.

With all respect to those who think that way, I disagree. He's inherited a crapfest, with no pre-season, and was always going to struggle to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Selecting some of our perennial failures and not selecting enough Academy products is bad, but he's been here 5 minutes. Changing managers 3 times a season hardly ever works, it's F*rest-esque levels of embarrassing, and no one worth anything as a manager would come and join the circus at the King Power just now.

They are well-managed and in form. We have stunk out large parts of the season and keep picking donkeys. 0-3, Soumaré (2) and Ayew.

He struggled first half but was unplayable for the last 15 minutes, despite them muti-marking him. And it very much looked like a penalty at the end.

So, a season of consolidation, then.... Much better after the changes, but honking for most of the game. If you play like that, you leave yourself at the mercy of refereeing decisions like the ones we saw tonight.

Not a head injury, player could have sat down off the pitch but chose to do so in his box, ref could have signalled play on, but no let's eat a few extra minutes.

The net is broken because Hull hit it hard twice.

That's harsh on James, IMO.

It's not just that there have been under-performances out there. We have been tactically taken to the cleaners. Hull look levels above us. We are a couple of last ditch clearances and saves away from being 4 or 5 down at half time. Fairly desperate stuff.

James probably the only one who can hold his head high this half. So he's deffo getting hooked.

By the way the goal all stemmed from Wout Faes, ace Midfielder , kicking the ball straight up in the air and losing it 3/4 of the way up the pitch, when it looked like an easy bit of control. Sigh. Again.

That was a good goal. Hull ripped us apart. They are by far the better side with tons more threat. Sigh.
