  1. Fan since childhood in the late 70s, I'd include the Jock Wallace promotion, the FA cup quarter final with 3 x goalies, the mutiple play-off defeats, sometimes with narrow, undeserved decisons, the joyful Derby playoff victory with Walsh dominating, the Palace playoff victory with a "dreamland" winner, as well as Claridge's shin in overtime and Martin O'Neill jumping two feet off the ground, and the Boro cup win in the second leg. Plenty exciting stuff before 30 years ago.
  2. Fair play to the away support. I watched on a stream in Madrid and all I heard was City fans, all game, including some classic oldie songs.
  3. Rarely seen such an utterly domimant performance as that in any league, even after changes. Just marvelous to enjoy, and with no pressure. Bravo
  4. ["straight back up" tune] Will you play on the cheap, Jamie Vardy? Sadly it doesn't seem you will Cos you're going to be pushing 40 And Rebekah has a legal bill
  5. I live a long way from Leicester and I watch us on streams. This season I've had to watch a few games with the opposition commentary on the stream. There was a period when we were running away with the league, when Enzoball was working and HMS Pisstheleague was flying a City Flag on calm waters, that opponents' commentators would repeatedly say we were obviously far too good for this league, they would applaud our build up play to the goals and they would be reduced to cheering their own lads getting a throw in. That felt good.
  6. I put 2 x compression socks on it and ran with my other leg doing more work, and I could feel it after 10km, but nursed it round the course.
  7. It would be comical if Notts Forest went down, screaming about the injustice rather then their ability to put the ball in the goal, but I can see them squeaking through, as if Luton had their moment of hope but have faded again. Still, really hope Man City don't let them off the hook, today, though.
  8. Well I did it. I hobbled the last bit and had to walk the steepest bits and my leg was ridiculously double-strapped. A rather shameful 2:40. I found it fairly punishing, lots of loooooong uphills followed by short steep downhills, and a tad warmer than I'm used to in Scotland (go figure). Still, I've earned a cerveza or three.
  9. @Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot this thread should have been a poll, I think the Ipswich / Leeds imbalance would be overwhelming.
  10. Ipswich and Norwich or WBA. Just not Leeds or Southampton.
  11. The Rs properly did Leeds right up the... err, Ginnell.
  12. The joy of promotion heightened by the schadenfreude of Leeds probably not going up in the autos and getting horsed while they are at it. Fair play QPR - a titan of a performance
  13. WE WANT 5 WE WANT 5
  14. Does anyone still have any doubts? I know fate can be a cruel mistress, but she's done us a solid, this evening.
  15. Should never have gone down in the first place. But yeah, feels good , even I'm starting to believe now.
  16. I thought Leeds might concede one early as they did at Boro, but 3? Blimey.
  17. Will this mean we get Fatawu?
  18. Yàaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas
  19. QPR have been dark artsing it up no end. Time wasting at set pieces, going down with alleged head injuries, the usual stuff we have spent a lot of the season being frustrated by.
  20. There's going to be so much additional time that they'll still be playing when we kick off on Monday.
  21. In Leicester City fan years, this half will last about four years.
  22. Have not enjoyed the last 10 minutes like I enjoyed the first 30 minutes.
  23. Just keep it to nil til half time. Or score another.
