Was only £10m wasn't it? Birmingham signed Stansfield for more than that. -

League 1 transfer record already? Massive aren't we. Good luck to him but I don't think he's going to do much over the next few years...we'll look back on this as good buisness I reckon. -

He will be desperate to go and the club will want him gone so I think they'll sort something out. Loan maybe. -

Went to the game on Saturday and he was the first to come over to the fans after. Took photos with my boys and seemed really really nice. Almost made me feel a bit bad for all the times I've slagged him off on here. He is still rubbish though. -

Oh right, sorry - Yeah if you're running that solo in training you're probably pretty close to sub-20 now! 5k race pace is very hard in a normal week to be fair...I would struggle to hit it in reps over a 1km usually. -

Knocking a minute off in 6 weeks would be a proper achievement - Keep us updated! -
Russell Martin - Confirmed as First Team Manager
James_lcfc replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I wasn't happy when he was first appointed, but I'm pretty much over that now - Just desperate for a bit of positivity around the club. We're doing pretty well at chopping out some of the rot, but there's still a way to go. If we can keep doing it though and bring in some hungry players at the same time, he may have a chance this season. -
Ryan One (20yo Sheff Utd forward. Rumoured interest. Not close to deal.)

I still play this and he scored against my Forest Green team the other week. It's a yes from me. -
Lovely send off on the website.

Pretty pleased with this. -
I saw that too. In full training gear and working with the fitness coaches. I guess he just has the keys to Seagrave now...and rightly so to be fair!

Danny Ings (signing 1 year deal, John Percy.)

Obviously you're right, but any striker who has been 'prolific' recently probably isn't going to fancy coming to us? ...when you consider we have no money or future prospects, I think we have to take what we can get! -

Hard 30 minute effort at lunch time for me today...pretty miserable in the heat but another box ticked I guess. Straight into the kids paddling pool when I got home - Got the body temp down nicely! -
I think in general his performances were around mid-table Championship level, yes.

He's on the right lines if he's serious and not just doing it for the cameras. This lot shouldn't even see a ball for the next 3 weeks - I would genuinely get them running 4 hard sessions/week and seeing which ones survive! -
Mid table Championship level midfielder. Worth around £4m at an absolute maximum, bit less would be fairer - The money we paid for him is absolutely criminal.

Bit hot and sticky for my 10k this morning, but somehow managed 2nd place. Winner came in not much over 30 minutes so was way behind him, but still really pleased with how I ran. Went out a bit too hard as usual but just about held it together over the last 2 miles! -

30 minutes pretty hard followed by 4 x 90s very hard for me this afternoon. Pretty tough but enjoyed it. Even thinking about entering a 10k next Sunday! -
We’re just not a serious club anymore. Hard to get annoyed about it, the whole thing is a comedy act at this point.

I can imagine - Body must be furious with you I ran 15:37, but that was 11 years ago now so it barely counts as a PB! Really trying to go under 16 minutes again at the moment as I haven't done that for 10 years. Had a go 2 weeks ago at parkrun but missed it by 12 seconds. I was on my own so maybe could have gone a bit quicker with some competition but not sure...I was fully on the pain train and hanging on for dear life after about 1k! -

Cheers. I don't really have any accomplishments to speak of as other than the odd parkrun I don't race anymore! I have been training pretty hard recently so I might do the odd race this year. I'm quite a way off even being considered sub-elite though...absolutely miles off 'elite'! You must have some pretty special DOMS by today? I have so many little niggles that that sort of distance would absolutely ruin me...it's an impressive achievement. -

Just saw this on the FT Strava - Phenomenal effort -
What did we pay for him? £1 million? It's up there with the Mahrez and Vardy deals for me - Great servant and one of our best ever players.
