Someone told me I was a moaner on here for questioning him playing at CB. He’s the worst player I’ve ever seen play for us - No exaggeration. Seen this so many times now, it’s genuinely infuriating.

Two CB’s are a comedy act.

Only player to play a decent pass all game to be fair. Pretty awful other than that though!

Apologies, I see your point. I don't agree that we won't need to worry about it this season though - We'll be punished plenty of times if we play like last night. Like I said though, we'll soon see. You can come back into this thread with a big 'I told you so' when we're top in April Wasn't writing Souttar off either, I do just think the jury is still out on him. He has improved over the last two games, but he was so poor in the first two that it's not really saying much is it?

Nah, I just need something tangible to be positive about - Not just blind optimism. I have been extremely positive on here about the current crop of youngsters as well. Alves, Braybrooke and Page are up there with the best prospects I've seen come through at Leicester.

Did you not watch the game last night? . Souttar hasn't been excellent either - 'OK' at best over the last two games and absolutely terrible in the first two.

Yeah good point - Guess I just don't see us having any 'promotion prospects' this season with or without Page, so didn't consider that. Still, a good season for him should see his value go up, you're right. I wonder if he was pushing for the move or if he's happy to stay for now...not a big fan of keeping players who aren't motivated and would rather be somewhere else!

'Huge' offer from United and we turned it down? Aren't we desperate for the cash? Weird one. Also standing in the way of a promising youngster's opportunity to get out of the shit-show seems a bit harsh. He can't be overly pleased! Maybe he's been guaranteed game time here, but if he went to United he would have be loaned out and played at Championship/League 1 level anyway... I'm glad he's stayed as I'm just a fan and I really enjoy watching him play, just seems a bit strange to me.

The more he gets on the ball in a game, the more I enjoy it. As others have pointed out though, it's the acadmey lads that are making the games watchable at the moment. Sammy should've come off around 80 minutes last minute though, it was almost walking football for him towards the end...shouting at the ball boys to slow down!

Yeah I agree he looks promising so far - Tired in the second half last night, but so did everyone else. Actually offers something going forward. Thomas can't go back in at LB, he's not good enough to play there at this level.

Agree with this. Brilliant in the first half, but not great in the second. Decision making is still a bit off which is normal - Dribbled into a crowd a few times in very dodgy positions before losing it. Only being slightly critical though - He’s going to be a top player.

He’s not a bad shot stopper then, good to know! Simply can’t play out from the back though - Will cost us more goals than he saves over the season.
