Injuries aside for a second - He's pretty good isn't he?

Luke Thomas - Hoffenheim interest

I agree he's better, but not by much. Very little in it. Both are awful at PL level. -

Aside from BEK and Mads, there isn't a single player I'd be disappointed to see leave now. ...and I'm not surprised he's called out Bounanotte - I've never seen a player lose the ball as much him...massively outweighs any positives he brings. Infuriating at times. -
We bought him for the future didn’t we? Only turned 22 last month and is already a good Championship striker. Surely that suggests a decent amount of potential? It doesn’t make much sense unless we’re desperate for money and he was the only player with any concrete interest this window. Ah well. Good luck to him I guess!
-
Nobody wanted him on a free in the Summer, now someone is going to activate a buy out clause? Nah. He’s not very good.
-
I never put anything on for a hard run as I can't concentrate on anything else so it's pointless. I always put a podcast on for easy/long runs though. Great for zoning out.
-
This. A quality central midfielder with a bit of dynamism would transform us. Our current options are awful. Only a striker should be of higher priority IMO.
-
I can understand people calling for Dyche. Really seems like we’re circling the drain and could do with a ship steadier for a bit. ….but I really don’t think this group of players would respond to his ways and methods. A lot of them think they’re better than what they are and would turn on him pretty quickly. We’re a mess, from top to bottom. It’s hard to watch.
-
If he’s not better than Faes or Coady he’s probably best off just retiring now.
-
This is like a training game for them isn’t it. Hard to watch.

Always been a big Stephy fan, but I agree he's underperforming this season and has been frustrating. Not sure he deserves singling out though and it's a bit harsh criticising his defensive work when he's right up there statistically when it comes to tackles, interceptions and blocks this season.

Sometimes when I feel a bit deflated and frustrated about the current squad and the way things are going, I think of Mads. It helps! What a player. I hope he’s having a nice and relaxing bit of time off -
Don’t think it’s all doom and gloom just yet. That squad will do well in the Championship, even with a hefty points deduction. Mads will be sold, but a lot will stick around due to their wages and our inability to move players on. We have a whole squad of those types of players who are good or even very good in the Championship, but then struggle in the PL.

We’re not about to enter another Levein > Holloway era are we? Can’t take another period like that, even if it was only 3 years! Things don’t seem great at the moment! -
The worrying thing is you can tell the players are really trying. Not like you can pin it on a lack of effort, they’re just not good enough as a group at this level.

LCFC will NOT face any charges for breaching PSR
James_lcfc replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yeah. It looked to me like it was no new charges until the outcome of appeal was reached when I read it initially. ...but as everyone seemed to be celebrating I just assumed I'd misunderstood! -
We've seen these sorts of articles over the past few windows now, it's blatantly his agent touting him about. Someone may pick him up when his contract ends, but pay the ~£10m we'd probably want before that? Very much doubt it.
-
Sounds like agent talk to be honest, but as he's under 16 it can't be can it? Having watched him a few times it's not a surprise he has the whole of the football world watching him. Never going to play in our first team is he...

Did 8 miles on a route that was way too icy yesterday and my left hip and hamstring are sore today, and it was only a slow run. Guess it's the slight overcompensation trying not slip over that's caused it... Gave in and did an hour on the treadmill this morning instead...not a fan!
-
Wasn’t my intention, but okay.
-
Had a go at a parkrun last Saturday with the remnants of a chest infection. Managed to get back in 17:12 which isn't too bad considering I was struggling to breathe. Last 5 days has been slow running only and whilst the legs are feeling great, the chest is still dodgy...just got to wait it out I guess.
-
Would be brilliant. Get rid.
-
Wasn't that good at Championship level. No thanks.
-
Miserable season that is almost certainly going to end in relegation… …but I still look forward to watching this lad play each week. So much talent, but you can tell he cares too. Love him.
-
Thought he was poor against Wolves and awful against Liverpool, but so was everyone else. Much better today though, had a decent game.
