  1. 'Mona Fartlek' is good one to try for anyone who has been running for a bit, but new to intervals. 20 minutes overall including the recoveries so it's pretty low volume. 2 x 90s 4 x 60s 4 x 30s 4 x 15s Recovery is always the same as the rep, so 90s for the 90s etc etc. You are supposed to run the recoveries as fast as you can possibly recover at, so it's more of a float. Record the distance you cover over the 20 minute minute period so you have a benchmark to aim for next time. I'm sure Steve Monegehtti who it's named after wasn't far of hitting 4.5 miles, so there's your target!
  2. I have started doing intervals and threshold work recently after a few years of just running easy/steady. Forgot how much it hurts!
  3. Well Monga goes without saying to be honest. He is quite clearly a massive talent. He looks ready for senior football already to me.
  4. Cheers - I haven’t got the commentary on! A few of our players look promising, but he has stood out a mile to me. Haven’t heard too much about him previously either.
  5. Number 49 for us looks a very good player.
  6. Michael Golding is a PSR fiddle very exciting prospect for the future.
  7. I think he'll end up a top player, but I can see why Brighton were happy to loan him out in the short term. His decision-making isn't great, and he seems give the ball away often, which makes us vulnerable in transitions. Reminds me very much of a young Grealish. You could tell he was very talented, but I used to like him being on the opposing team, as you could reliably get the ball back off him in good areas and spring on teams. Football is all about entertainment for me though, so I'd have him in the team every week regardless of the above. Love watching him.
  8. Yeah I’ve always defended him as we just hadn’t seen enough of him. I have now though - Not even close to being good enough. Been one of our worst players so far, and the standard is extremely low. If we’re sticking with Cooper (gulp), we desperately need a new left back in Jan.
  9. Was no worse than anyone else today. ….but the bar is low…
  10. It’s the same every week, yet I’m still surprised by how bad we are. It’s on me at this point
  11. Kristiansen is a trier, but my god is he poor. Doesn’t do anything well.
  12. Apologies for the loser mentality... ...but a point would be brilliant.
  13. This sums him up well. I've never thought he was 'lazy' as he gets labeled on here a lot. I think it's a concentration issue - He's just never where you want him to be when we haven't got the ball, and the way he loses runners is infuriating. It's annoying as he's good on the ball, strong and can progress it well. Has (almost) everything for the position he plays.
  14. If that was against us I’d have been going mad! Looked an obvious pen.
  15. The complimentary posts in here are just baffling. Point away from home is the only positive to take from that. The performance was dreadful. Game 100% changed by the sending off.
  16. Kalvin Phillips saved the day. What a guy. Very fluid and classy performance from us.
  17. I’ve watched all of them, and no it isn’t. …these are also one of the worst teams we’ve played so far.
  18. Can’t believe how bad we’ve been. Need to somehow scrape a draw here, can’t lose to these.
  19. Appreciate the feedback
  20. Goalkeeper aside, every single player has been appalling. Some worse than others obviously, but in general - Appalling. Fingers crossed one of our decent 45’s is coming now!
  21. Just missing Soumare for the perfect 11.
  22. I thought we looked a lot better than them in both games last season though to be fair... But you are right, we couldn't beat them.
  23. I would go full Enzo. Two high 8's with Vesty dictating and Ricardo inverting. Bring it back Coops. Mads Faes Vestergaard Okoli Ricardo Winks El Khannouss Bounanotte Fatawu Mavididi Vardy Three of those five attackers are very young so you have to expect a bit of inconsistency, but they are all talents so we need to put some trust in them. I guess the management is even more important in that regard as they would need a bit more guidance - Especially without the ball with cohesive pressing etc. Trust in Steve to sort that out Players like Ndidi and Ayew are OK, but should be supplementary in my opinion - Bring them on when you need a bit more physicality and nous.
  24. We've got a good young player here.
  25. We employ the best in their field - We don’t just hand jobs out to the old boys. We are an extremely tight and measured operation from top to bottom.
