  1. I think if we staged a mass walkout on 85 mins quite a few would commit to it - they have been doing for years
  2. We are paying money in return for entertainment (questionable ) a bit like the cinema. We are supporters and stakeholders - but they club doesn't belong to us as much as I recognise the sentiment in your post.
  3. Fuerteventura next week for 5 nights for the half term rip off season. Hoping the weather will be half decent
  4. Just seen on Instagram today they have been doing the very same thing you’ve described, this time with RvN
  5. I think she'll have to go given the party ethos is built on honesty and integrity. Can't have both................
  6. Are you allowing ex semi pro's to play in this?
  7. Don't know but we had 0.8% and 0.4% GDP growth in the first two quarters this year.
  8. Yes the first sentence in bold is great (0.1%), then you read the context, then you read about living standards, then you read about the outlook its gets gloomier in the other 95% of the article.
  9. No need to be so tetchy - looks like someone at the bank has shopped her in! I think Prison is a bit extreme
  10. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ckg75jr5284o BBC even sticking the boot in, this doesn't make great reading
  11. Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience
  12. Had a sneaky suspicion this was the case, the club want to be positioned to show they are doing ''the right thing'' given it's 2025
  13. Sam Kerr gets off Scot free what a massive surprise that is.
  14. Anyone had a garden make over done recently? We've got a sloping uphill garden in our new house and trying to work out how much it will cost to level it more, new patio etc. I know the cost variations will vary due to finish and size but I've heard some horror stories on cost recently.
  15. What awful value for money, who would pay £294 for a few chicken sliders at welford road then a general admission ticket. Need your head checking
  16. If a group of just stop Oil can glue themselves to the road and cause chaos surely a bigger movement can make an impression without the police shutting it down. How many turnstiles are there, 50? What about Gluing yourself to the entrance of each turnstile 90 mins before kick off
  17. 52
  18. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/andrew-searle-dawn-british-couple-france-death-phone-b2695354.html This seems very mysterious
  19. I'm not saying we need him and agree on the LT comparison. I'm just shocked hes a free agent, I'm sure he could do a job in the Champ. Read that he accumulated 30 points on his licence and driven without insurance - so a complete b*llend then
  20. Brandon Williams is a free agent? And has been since last summer? Few years ago he was talked about being the business.
  21. By definition it should be really demanding is what I mean, of course there will be work shy MPs - and some wrong uns too - sorry to quote a daily mail article but the BBC can’t manage to report on it properly because there’s a few naughty words. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14375823/Labour-minister-SACKED-vile-jibe-saying-hopes-pensioners-dont-vote-party-die-election-expose-racist-sexist-messages.html
  22. Didn't expect you to agree as you think no business should make a profit nor anyone make a decent wage and nobody pays enough tax
  23. You are always going to find professions where people are paid less and work long hours. My point is (alongside the long hours) is that we are talking about a group of people that heavily influence the running of the country - whether its education, health, social care, the economy etc and in my opinion we would see a better quality of person if the pay was better for the comparable responsibility in the private sector. You don't have to agree, but I think there is a discussion there. Admittedly It is a gateway to better earning power post office especially if you are a minister or an ex PM - just look at the amount of money Bozza and Tony Blair have made since.
  24. Who's seeing the Comedy?
