One curious thought has occurred to me about the BC. Game logo. Have they secured / cleared image rights with whoever owns PacMan? If feels an uncanny and deliberate likeness - yet not the sort of company that you would think rights holders to the games main character would want to be associated with. I wouldn’t be surprised if the increased exposure the company will get results in some form of litigation regarding its logo.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
DJ Barry Hammond replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
This looks significant. Clear sign that can kicking is a good ploy. -
Only if BC Games in house Crypto token moons - because that’s what our sponsorship is being paid in.
-
There’s gambling sponsors and then there’s shady, crypto linked, overseas, not available to use in the UK gambling sponsors. Bring back sponsors such as ‘Car Lube’ I say!
-
Ah - Ndidi will be signing then!

Looks like you have a new item for the agenda if/when the club decides to meet you guys… BC ****ing Game indeed!

Tried their website - not available in the UK 😏

What the Leicester results may also give is an indicator on why Labour’s vote share appears unimpressive. It could well be with Starmer making an awful gaff with his Bangledesh comments in the immediate lead up and Gaza being a hot topic within sections of the harder left and Muslim areas of the parties traditional support, Labour lost a significant portion of voters from those demographics.

Bravo 👏

Fair play - the opportunity for a little in forum joke was too good to pass 😉

The other obvious thing is - the game is not just about the first 11 anymore. With 5 subs, you’re almost guaranteed to change at least one winger in a game just to freshen - so having a bench options that are to a standard are essential.
-
If you’re signing a player for £9-11 million the wage is going to be in similar area and probably over a longer contract to spread the transfer fee. We were clearly a winger short and yet how easy would it be to find a player in budget that’s better than Mav and Fatwau? Fat’s was a steel at £15 million - so you know, a young, Premier League standard winger is going to cost potentially £20 million is it not? Also - would you really want a player coming in over the top to play in place of these two anyway? Aren’t they and Kasey our resale value players in those positions?
-
Guy was an absolute baller at Bristol City for that one season (Championship). Consider this - he’s got Premier League experience, feels a good character fit for the squad, it’s a signing that reinforces us, weakens a rivals depth and is a player that could conceivably drop down with us in the Championship if that happened. Call him our Albrighton replacement maybe? On a free too - it just makes sense for the position we’re in, especially as our priority for ‘money’ first team improvements is in other areas (midfield / up front). Also - another quiet signing, brought in early. Positive signs as to our much criticised internal workings.

Yeah, I think this is the missed story of the election at the moment. Yes, Farage has done amazing things in terms of vote share and will understandably get coverage given our right leaning press… But you have to say how the Lib Dem’s have converted their vote share to seats is really impressive.
-
I’d have to check the results, but wasn’t the Corbyn elections essentially two horse races? If I remember correctly Farage stood down his Brexit party candidates, the Lib Dems were useless - partly caused by Labour contesting their stronger areas - and turnout was no doubt higher too.
-
I agree, I don’t think Labour have to do much to secure opinion - slowly fix stuff and don’t score too many own goals.
-
I agree - in fact it might be shorter lived than that given Nigel AND The Greens are likely to be very vocal on this issue now - and maybe the Lib Dems too.
-
I saw a clip of him being heckled / challenged down the street earlier this week, but have no idea if the wider situation?
-
Probably @Bert’s fault for not voting 😂
-
I can see why too - it looks like a lot of people have focused on tactical voting to get the stories out - and Reform don’t have enough ‘known’ candidates to take full advantage of the Tory collapse.

Question: Does that previous rule of; “you lost, so shut the **** up!” count for elections as well as referendums?
-
I question how the Conservatives get past 100 seats at the moment… they’re losing huge former majority seats.
-
The exit poll is looking… questionable. Could be some significant variance.
-
Channel 4 have done a good job so far tonight haven’t they? I’m hearing the BBC’s showing is awful? Could it be that LK is another casualty of the election tonight?
-
Having lived up that way, it’s grim up there - but the locals are proud people and a lot of them have a great resentment towards Labour.
