Classic Man U cycle of the last 12 years. Appoint big name, does alright, gets loads of dodgy penalties, transfer window, spend a shitload of money, keep getting beat, penalties run dry, sacked. Appoint club name, does incredibly well til summer, gets replaced. Except this time they forgot to appoint a new big name in the summer.

There are random encounters and then there's complete bombardment. I'm particularly a GTA IV veteran so know full well what freak & strangers side missions are and have been playing the series since Hare Krishnas lined up in rows to get flattened from a birdseye view. If I can't just blow past a side mission to come back to it, or when I then trip it I have to look the encounter up on the web to see if I'll miss out on something massive if I make the wrong decision, multiple times while I just want to go from A to B it's not fun for me, it breaks the emersion. Red Dead 2 would just nag me constantly, I played Red Dead 1 in the same way and it took me a while to really get into it, but eventually had alot of fun. Maybe it's my playstyle being that I never tend to fast travel, but I never even finished the story.

Will be using built up Microsoft points to get this effectively for free. Also didn’t greatly enjoy RDR2, main reason was the over use of random encounters which did/didn’t have large unforeseen connotations - I’d just want to horse it from A to B… commotion in the bushes, deal with it for 5mins meh, set off again, NPC voices from broken down wagon sigh, ride past it, keep going, commotion from bushes… couldn’t be bothered with it. Let me play the game at my own pace ffs.

Aspects of Red Dead 2, Max Payne 3. Assets on screen were incredible at times, night clubs look a huge RAM draw but somehow it runs... female character models getting a particularly large screen time there too 3 months

It is kinda built in a way that the main training pitches are sat atop a platform on a large hill, south facing with not much in way of wind cover. So it's completely open to the elements in winter; throwing up snow, sleet and all sorts. The dome doesn't really see much use. People are nice there. It's just if you compare LCFC to what it was before Seagrave, you've got a very close knit operation down at Belvoir Dr. with Stadium acting as PR/HR/Media office for the club. Now at Seagrave the main building is essentially a large office block on its side, now facilitating PR/HR/Media up there, inevitably having had a huge influx of staff to run the site, who've been prone to high turnover given recent club performances and new starters moving about. So there's inevitably been a degree of dilution of the culture gone on, with a generalised office mode replacing it. Belvoir can be quite isolated, and stadium is much less core for the club as it was - both still having high quality playing surfaces. Still early days really. The infrastructure is in place. Feel we need a way to improve the stadium if/when/or we ever kick on again. Stadium somehow needs to be focal point imo.
