  1. He's inexperienced, and right now out of his depth. He should walk and tip the club into the crisis it deserves.
  2. Might work but these players look shot of confidence, belief and in most cases effort. Hard for anyone to turn this round. At least we're not yet cut off but hard to see us winning another game right now.
  3. Disgraceful doesn't do the situation justice. There really needs to be some serious protests now. Each game non stop until things change. Rudkin must go asap and Top needs to sell to someone who cares or at least has some kind of business acumen. Just about everything about the club stinks right now. No way we avoid relegation unless we get in a manager to sort out the basics of the game.
  4. Surely this is why you and everyone else should be angry about it.
  5. I might have used a different word myself. Hope you enjoy it.
  6. I think the Dean Smith appointment does need to be viewed in context. Very few games remaining and probably very few options willing to take the job for that length of time. And actually if Castagne had scored from three yards against Newcastle we might not be in the mess we are. Not saying Smith was a good appointment merely we probably had few options. otherwise agree completely.
  7. Mowbray has done little of note at this level since around 2008 except be sacked from every job after that. He did ok for a season at Sunderland but was sacked the following one, failed at Celtic, was atrocious last time at West Brom and not much better at Birmingham though he was ill then to be fair to him. He might be ok but I'm not that convinced.
  8. We're just not very good.
  9. The crowd could accept losing poor goals if there was a response on the pitch and some real effort shown by the players and the manager, But we have the opposite. Little effort really on the pitch and a manager incapable of coaching event the basics of a solid team, ie defence and some idea how to attack the opposition. At Wrexham it was the weather, now its the fans next match maybe it will the wrong type of tea in the dressing room or something as ridiculous.
  10. The tweet reads to me like the waiter is doing the interview not Aiyawatt.
  11. Needs resting for a few games.
  12. Any half decent DOF would have sorted this out though. Full pressure on his agent and active work to get him out of the club.
  13. 22 games without a clean sheet is unacceptable at whatever level of the game you compete. He can't even organise the defence.
  14. Agree. Was our beloved DOF there tonight? Our owner wasn't, surprise surprise.
  15. I think this is actually a worrying possibility in the short to medium term. With no money, useless recruitment department and a hopeless DOF the future looks pretty bleak for the next 5 or so years.
  16. Spot on. Players like Coatsworth epitomise that period for me. They were very limited but as you say they always tried their best and worked hard. I'm not seeing that right now. Feel for the younger players who have poor role models to look up to and respect.
  17. This was the biggest takeaway from the whole match for me. We know we are poor but this really demonstrates bigger problems within the team than perhaps are obvious on the surface. There's just no team spirit at all, no cohesiveness. It is like the players are just playing for themselves and not for a team at all. The goal we conceded was terrible. Ultimately the keeper is to blame but it all stems from the fact that the press is all wrong and disjointed leading to players being out of position and not able to track back. Otherwise it is just the same old issues time and time again which the manager and his team seem unable to address. The passing is too slow. Playing out from the back nearly always ends up with the ball with Okoli who clearly doesn't know what to do with it. Ricardo is, sadly, finished at this level. We are so narrow that any team that moves the ball wide quickly exposes us each time they do it. Without James we have basically no attacking options in midfield Ayew is a major problem. We can't press properly from the front because he is just too slow. We're too predictable and I really can't say what our style of play is except woeful. There's no point in bringing Monga on if the only passes we're going to give him are with his back to goal or over his head.. He needs quick ball to be able to run onto. Page looks a good prospect but like Monga he's young and raw and we can't expect them to turn things around on their own. The senior players need to start playing for the club and show some desire and leadership on the pitch. Can they do it? I don't think so. Finally the manager needs to go. I'd say now but definitely in the summer. He's just not up to it.
  18. When was the last time he attended a game?
  19. Don't forget penalties don't count though.
  20. Suppose that's saved it being fed to the stewards next match.
  21. I suspect you may think the moon is made of cheese or that the world is flat.
  22. Respect needs to be earned. I'm not sure passing the ball a few yards to a team mate who then scores a goal from nowhere is really enough on its own. Sadly his performances since have not improved and he's been largely terrible this season. I'm not saying he doesn't try but he isn't good enough. I'm sure Ben Chilwell was so affected by fans that his decision to leave was not at all influenced by the massive increase in his pay packet he received. Yesterday Fatawu was completely ineffective until the 95th minute. This isn't a personal attack on him but he really was. He scored a great goal but otherwise did very little. This is fan's forum/message board where people express opinions. Sometimes they won't agree with you but that is the nature of this sort or forum. I wouldn't take some comments too seriously.
  23. He was terrible last night. Probably the worst player on the pitch. He's the complete opposite of a good technical footballer and the epitome of a player who isn't that good but tries to make up for it with effort. He's only being picked because the options we have in that position are either injured or currently even worse than Hamza.
  24. Well the Polo had to come first and then something else more important than the club I guess.
  25. Sounds like you would like to see some change? So what would you do to get the change required?
