  1. Just talking about it in the League Cup thread. A common theme now with big clubs, just to many day trippers at each of these places. Probably just turn up and want to be entertained, Klopp rightly asking what more do they want Liverpool to do (in terms of hammering West Ham on the day).
  2. Only issue is Newcastle would be in the final again. Liverpool v Everton would've been great over two legs though. Big shame Chelsea v Liverpool wasn't a semi final, so that one of Middlesbrough or Fulham made the final. Can't see past Liverpool though. Sure they'll be favourites.
  3. It's happened for years though. Fergie called out Man Utd fans and how long ago was that? Mourinho did it and Pep has been saying it for a couple seasons now. Pricing is horrific, and something needs to be done, but more people just treat going to games like theatre and waiting to be entertained. I think that's the issue with Man City now. But every forum I look on has a thread about the lack of atmosphere, like we do.
  4. I had Solanke on 6 and he got substituted out and Jiminez came on for -2
  5. As if
  6. Rubbish draw. Wanted Chelsea v Liverpool.
  7. Bournemouth v Luton to be scrapped and replayed.
  8. I tried to hide from anything relating to this on social media. Thankfully I only saw one "great owners we should be thankful" tweet.
  9. Sorry, my mistake, read your post wrong. I see what you mean RE their owner and do agree.
  10. Thinking he's rubbish doesn't mean people are "against" him. I don't rate him but I want him to do well, I want to be proved wrong over time, if any player is doing well (as Daka is at the minute) then we're benefitting.
  11. ? He's been a respected coach and also managed Swansea to the play offs, twice. He's a decent second tier manager and was a good appointment for Forest, as he proved. Not even in the same category as someone like Pearce.
  12. Still to this day I can't believe Nuno and Puel played out a 4-3.
  13. Probably more money. They don't care for fans, it's all money.
  14. Gameweek still open because of the Bournemouth v Luton game. Still no idea on when they're making a decision? Plus deadline is tomorrow for next round.
  15. Always going to happen as soon as it goes wrong, given their backing. If they don’t make top 6 again I think he will be gone.
  16. Yeah fair enough that is a good example and you’re probably right. I do get your point tbf but I think that’s because of expectation? We were horrific and going one way. No way could we have gone down as champions so something had to happen. Compared to Forest who haven’t won anything, they’ve survived being in the league like a lot of bottom half clubs. Hard to compare when it’s not happened since.
  17. Newcastle dumped out of another competition. Lovely to see.
  18. Not sure about domestic but they played in Europa League final under Hodgson, must be a decade ago now though. I’d like to see Fulham win it tbf.
  19. And missed the pen haha!
  20. Fulham through on pens.
  21. He was the first manager to get them promoted to the first flight after about 20 years. And he did it in a season where they looked like they were getting relegated to the third tier. It’s not hard to understand why they love him so much, especially the younger generation of fans. I said it before but it’s probably like how my generation love Pearson. We spent 90% of Pearson’s only PL season bottom and never once did I want him out. He turned us around and I believed he’d do it again if we had gone down. That’s what football is, love for someone you believe in who has made your club a success.
  22. It is good to see as it's Chelsea, but it's a shame we have to pick between them and fvcking Newcastle. Hopefully neither win the trophy.
  23. Newcastle winning
  24. Terrible tackle so early in the game. I think with VAR he might have gone there. Middlesbrough already 1 up at Port Vale.
  25. Justin isn't in his natural position for starters. Doyle would be the obvious choice at left back out of the current squad, but there have been many times where Doyle has been caught out too.
