  1. I've started drinking non alcoholic drinks a bit more. I still have pints (alcohol) but nice to mix it up. I don't mind the Heineken 0 but can anybody else recommend any? I noticed the Peroni equivilent is in my local shop now so might give that a try. Though, I don't (and never have) drank heavily. I only ever have a few pints a weekend. It's just nice to have a couple with no alcohol in sometimes.
  2. Almost as bad as "recycle the ball". Sounds something American's would say.
  3. All the new fancy words that have crept into the game "pivot" "double pivot" etc
  4. It's impressive to be that many games unbeaten but aside from beating Leeds and WBA (both at home), and Hull away, the other results are games you wouldn't expect Southampton to lose given the strength of their squad. They've got Wednesday and Swansea next so you'd expect them to get another 6 points. Though they have got away games at WBA and Bristol City next month as well which will be tougher, Bristol City being a better side now.
  5. Yes, having won it in August and October. When he first won it he became the 11th different (Leicester) manager to win it.
  6. Soyuncu was never good enough for a side like Atletico. I said it at the time but all comments were "how is he good enough for them and not us". Big clubs have poor transfers too, Matt Doherty went there ffs.
  7. Sometimes can't believe he actually played for us. What a player.
  8. I think they are the only two teams that don't do it. Perhaps Arsenal too. Go through past players much more than other clubs.
  9. One last thing needed - winner at Elland Road.
  10. Nobody thought Leicester would win the league in their lifetime.
  11. It's the competition for me. It's bound to be, we have players that we paid £20m for and it's obvious we are stronger than most, if not all, teams we've played (Leeds an exception at our place and Southampton now looking better). We beat Cardiff over Christmas and they looked like a side who could be 20th, not top 10. Can't remember the last time opposition impressed me, I always feel like I expect more from some teams (WBA as an example). Perhaps Sunderland, they were creative and came at us. The difference in finishing is huge compared to the Premier League. There are misses against us this season that half decent PL strikers would have scored. That's my worry for next season but I just want us to win this league, and get out of it, first.
  12. Don't take everything so seriously on the internet. It's clearly a wind up.
  13. We also played some really good teams, much stronger opposition than the England team faces nowadays. France had Zidane, Portugal had Figo, Brazil had Ronaldo.
  14. That is right but we have only played them 3 times since then so it's pointless really.
  15. This isn't the general thoughts all all Sheffield United fans though. A lot don't want Ward.
  16. I always thought he’d finish his career back at Sunderland. Not sure since this Saudi move but he’s won everything possible at club level and played for England, not much left to do.
  17. Sad to see another considered among the greatest to go, RIP. Pele, Beckenbauer, Cruyff, Maradona, Charlton all died now
  18. Hopefully Wolves beat Brentford so we end up with a Black Country Derby. I'm pretty sure the last two were behind closed doors.
  19. Cheers lads. I wasn't disputing it just thought it was weird what happened, but makes sense now.
  20. What's happened to him? Scored one goal then never seen again.
  21. Not as big as they think though.
  22. Manchester United now rejected it. First English club to do so.
  23. Manchester United are the first English team to reject it.
  24. Pretty much. They'll tell you they are a big club too.
