Did he suddenly become two footed last season? He was effective for us last season but that doesn’t make him a good footballer, he gave his all but so would I. Said last season that at best he was a lower half PL player, no way is he good enough for Chelsea. We made £30m on him, great business so let’s not spoil that by buying him back. As for a weird way of looking at one of our own, I think we give them more leeway than if it was someone we’d paid for.

We may need an 8 and if we do I'd hope he's have the use of both feet and not hold up so many attacks by having to get the ball onto his good foot or shanking the pass like KDH did on so many occasions last season, that was in The Champioship so he'd look even worse in the PL. I sing at most away games, I generally stop till the end but I don’t believe that makes me a better supporter than those who don’t sing or decide to leave early I’ve been going for 50 years Nd been a ST holder for about 30 of those. During that time I’ve seen dozens of fans who go to every game, home and away, and sing their hearts out all game. Not many of them still going nowadays. .
