If we're still 'onboarding the new sponsor', that implies the sponsorship has only recently been secured. If's it not FBS and it's not KP, then who is it?

I feel as if I’ve taken the red pill and suddenly understand an important but disturbing truth about the universe that was previously hidden to me 😳 -

Just listened - very enjoyable, as always. Is microwaveable bacon actually a thing? I mean, does it genuinely exist or was that just some in-joke that I missed?! -

Well the one that’s playing has been comfortably our best player so far! -

Serious doubts emerging over whether Luke Shaw will play any part in the tournament. And no other left-footed full back in the squad. Genius. -

He wasn’t in the keeper’s line of sight, nor close enough to him to impede him. His presence had zero effect on the outcome. -

It very obviously should have been given. Horrendous decision. Of course it would have to be the English officials that conspire to mess something up so badly 🙄 -

In his post-match interview last night, Southgate bemoaned the lack of balance on the left owing to the absence of Luke Shaw. Yet it was Southgate's decision to not bother with another left-footed full back, making it inevitable that we would end up playing with right-footed players at left back, rendering us hopelessly lopsided. Why did he drop Tyrick Mitchell from the initial squad. That decision is looking weirder and weirder by the day... -
Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
ClaphamFox replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
The dates have not been set. We have no idea about the level of breach, what points deduction the PL will ask for, nor what our defence will consist of. We don't even know the outcome of Man City's legal case against the PL, which could significantly impact how our case is dealt with - especially if the PL loses. In short, we know nothing. Edited to add: If this article is correct that the decision in Man City's case is expected within two weeks of 10 June (when the tribunal started), then we should know more about that early next week. -
Or none at all.

The Athletic article makes it very clear that cost was the main reason we didn't get either Corberan or Potter. I was hoping this wouldn't be the case, but it seems to be the reality of the situation. Oh well - let's hope Cooper is one of those appointments that is initially misjudged by the fans before he goes on to prove everybody wrong...
-
On the WYS podcast, Dominic Wells said that Cooper's preferred way of playing is very possession-oriented, utilising a deep-lying playmaker in exactly the role that Winks plays but without the inverted full-back. However, unlike Enzo he will adapt and switch formations if his preferred way isn't working. So those moaning last season that we didn't have a 'Plan B' should be happy - Cooper apparently has so many plans that at times nobody is even sure what Plan A is.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
ClaphamFox replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yes it has. And we're a week into the transfer window and the club does not appear to be in any rush to sell players to avoid another PSR breach. That could change, of course, but as things stand it seems like KDH, for example, may still be our player on 1 July... -
Whatever else you might think of him, Cooper was apparently highly popular with the squad at Forest and is generally regarded as a good man manager. Footballers of different clubs often seem to socialise together, so it's likely our squad will be aware of this. I'm not sure his appointment will be greeted with quite the same horror that it has induced in some of the fanbase...
-
I don't think the club sees it this way at all. They want to stay up at all costs and have recruited Cooper because he managed that at Forest. It's nothing to do with preparing for relegation again.
-
The extremely understated and unenthusiastic phrasing of the tweet suggests that the club is very aware of how unpopular this appointment will be with the fans and are trying to avoid winding people up any more than necessary.
-
So it’s almost a week into the transfer window and there’s been barely a whisper of KDH leaving any time soon. Were all those stories about him being sold before the end of June to avoid another PSR breach completely wide of the mark?
-
We can only assume that Cooper assured Top that he wants to play passing football. To be fair, he did do this with Swansea and in his first season at Forest, so he has evidence to back it up.
-
I’d rather have a fully-committed Cooper than a half-arsed Potter, which is what I think we’d have got. However I’d have preferred Corberan to either of them.

You know what? I don't reckon this game will end 0-0. -
100% agree with all of this.
