There are too many rumours from too many good sources for it to be completely unfounded - the club is clearly very interested in this player. That doesn’t mean we’ll get him, but it sounds like we’ll push hard for it.
-
It’s not surprising though. Top is ideologically wedded to a certain style of play and is unlikely to have recruited Cooper without reassurances that he would play that way. I also remember reading recently that Cooper has studied all our games from last season with a view to replicating what worked. I suspect anybody hoping for a radical departure from Enzo’s style of play is going to be disappointed.
-
The context in which he said it suggested he meant style.

“He doesn’t want to change a massive amount.” The ‘Enzoball’ haters aren’t going to like the sound of that…

Yep. We may as well just accept that Trump will be president again. It’s over.
-
Images are being circulated online of somebody called Thomas Matthew Crooks, but it seems to be the wrong Thomas Matthew Crooks. The guy in the images has posted a video admitting that’s his name and that he hates Trump, but proving that he’s clearly not the shooter.

They should have just listened to the folk on here claiming it was staged.
-
Somebody was killed. That’s one hell of a way to ‘stage’ something..,

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
ClaphamFox replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
We have been, and still are, challenging the PL’s right to sanction us. We’ll almost certainly lose this challenge but it will delay proceedings for a bit longer. -

We never threatened Everton with anything. -

We’re the ones delaying it. -
Either because it’s a new accounting period or because Rudkin, Top and Whelan have undergone mind erasure procedures like the one in Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind and now have zero recollection that we breached PSR in 2020-23. Hopefully the former🤞

Police have confirmed the suitcases contained the bodies of TWO adult men and that they were taken from London to Bristol. There's now a 'second crime scene' in Shepherd's Bush... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cyj4y4jwgm7t

If we get 2017-2021 Wilf back, this is great news; if it's the 2021-23 version, not so much. It's a risk, but probably a justifiable one given that there's no transfer fee and our budgetary constraints mean that we'll need to pick up a few on free transfers to balance out those we have to fork out on.

I suspect you may be overestimating the number of people who fit in this category. If the new shirt sells well, it probably won't be because large numbers of people who publicly state they 'detest gambling' suddenly lose their moral compass; it will be because most people who buy the shirt probably won't actually give a shit either way about gambling. There's a difference between hypocrisy and complete indifference.

If it's a ruse the club has done very well in persuading some leading Italian football journalists to help them spread it....
-
Yeah, apparently he ran off shouting, "¿Viste mi gol maravilloso contra Francia?"

This report in the Bristol Post contains a few more details - ie, there was a trail of blood from one of the suitcases and the suspect was heard shouting in Spanish... https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-news/eyewitness-tells-moment-man-ran-9404360

Where will you be watching the final?

Local pub in my Oxfordshire village. -
He's sitting in a deckchair in his back garden as his phone pings notifying him of the 234th voicemail from the club has left him over the past week. He briefly considers listening to the message but decides against it, then takes a sip of his piña colada, sighs and closes his eyes.

Also, we had to sell KDH before 30 June to avoid another PSR breach. We're now in a different accounting period. Judging from our reported interest in O'Riley and Soule, the club has decided we can afford to spend £20m+ on an attacking midfielder this summer.
