Tbf Sir Les was a decent signing. He had a good run with us that season.

Compared to Mirage, it's very hard to class it as an AC game. It's so far removed from that original core assassination/stealth gameplay it becomes mundane after 50 or so hours.

Final thoughts at some point next week. I'm roughly 22 hours, about 2/3s through Mirage now. It's still in my top 5 of all AC games. Reminds me a lot of that original trailer (see below) and subsequent first game with all the refinements which were needed then, made now.

It is a bizarre situation. You don't need to be particularly knowledgeable about our football club to know where his best position is. So why does he not put him there? There's being at Peter Taylor levels of ineptitude which is bad enough but then there's a whole new level of stupid which is where Cooper seems to operating from imo.

He's out of his depth here. That is plain to see. I'm still vastly underwhelmed by this guy. Not even close to being whelmed.

It can't be any worse than Prometheus or its sequel surely? I sat laughing in the cinema while watching Prometheus. The level of intelligence shown in that movie was completely non-existent. The most brain-dead moment occurred when she ran away from the rolling ship. Rather than run to the left or right, she continues to run the same path as the rolling ship. As for putting David in a bag, again, a ridiculous way to end the movie. Romulus does look more Alien than anything we've seen for a while. The trailer gives off Alien Isolation vibes and the alien itself isn't CGI generated which is promising in terms of realism.

We're in a position where, in the space of three consecutive seasons, we've ended up with a weaker squad than the season before on two of those three occasions with a league championship sandwiched between. And yet still noone behind the scenes has gone for it. Incompetence.

We're in a huge amount of trouble in comparison to where we were two years ago. That was bad enough, the situation currently is far, far worse. Fed up of reading overly positive FB posts from the club as if everything is going as planned.

AC Mirage is the best looking game in the series. Gameplay wise, it's up there with the best. I'd have it in my top 5 presently. We'll see how it turns out once the platinum is done.
