Downloaded The Outer Worlds now that it's free on PS+. I'm surprised at how good it looks, was expecting something dull but it looks great. Any tips for this game?

I'd go with that. FF12 I stopped playing too - never did go back to it to finish it off. Since 12, 16 is the best one imo although I still feel they could have done more with the setting and overall gameplay experience as it was way too easy for a FF game. Cid in 16 is a brilliant character, something which has been lacking since Auron in FFX.

Immortals of Aveum. Ended up grinding it out for a few hours and stuck with it to get most of the top loot and managed to overcome the main boss in the first fight and everything that came after it. Still tough though. As for the game itself, reviews are harsh imo, it's not a bad game at all. @kingcarr21 add it to your list!

Can I please ask which soundbar do you have connected to your TV? My Panasonic soundbar recently packed up and I am weighing up going LG to match the TV or Bose or similar.

Hit a brick wall with Immortals of Aveum. Went on a good run with it over the weekend and actually found it surprisingly good, but then I've got to the main boss and it's game over. Far too difficult. Even on easiest difficulty. Rock solid.

Watched the first episode of Fallout and by the end of it I thought it was a brilliant set up to what should be a decent run of episodes. The weakest aspect of the first episode was definitely the start - I felt they could have done that better and more in tune with a Fallout 4 kind of setup. I thought it was a little underwhelming at this point but as soon as we were introduced to vault 33, the likeness to the games was decent and there were plenty of little references done very well. The mystery behind vault 32 was also interesting and was very much like one of those game missions where you visit abandoned vaults. Will the budget stretch to CGI for a deathclaw?

He'll sleep easy tonight. Must count himself to be pretty lucky 24 hours on following today's results.

It becomes a slog after 65 hours. But then you have another 60 hours to go until you get the platinum after hours and hours of fishing. Enjoy
