  1. I’ve already responded to the Huddersfield behaviour. But to add if fans boo a player over rumours, allegations etc.. Then the player feels victimised or wronged (in their own opinion) what self respecting human is going to be clapping the fans that boo them? why as fans do we get so pissy about it? All I care about is 100% effort on the pitch as a minimum, im sure we would agree some players are not currently doing this. My arguments back tonight are that we are inconsistent in our behaviors towards players, over in most cases rumours, allegations and conjectures. We should all be raging at Enzo should he come back. According to Top he jumped ship, having committed to us and us planning a pre season around his wishes. Thats disrespectful too, right?
  2. Maybe he fell out over standards? Are we really basing a fall out over 3 shitty managers? even if true, I don’t boo our players.
  3. Again, other then a poorly timed social media post, and an Enzo banner everything else is rumour & conjecture. But we all love a scapegoat, when other players have shown (in my opinion) more disrespectful behaviour.
  4. Should we have ditched mahrez when he was AWOL at the airport?
  5. Let me ask you after Hamza love in with a Sheffield united player, after they beat us, should he have been selected? Been Boo’s? Was this not disrespectful to the club? when the same player was caught driving under the influence, should he have been banished from the 1st team? Being a family club, was this not disrespectful to the club? is hosting a Covid party that made the media, with other players, was this not disrespecting the club? fans have a mob mentality, can be inconsistent and make judgements. I tend to look at the bigger picture and what I view as being the best for the club. Winks is head and shoulders one of our best players. I won’t get a strop over a social media post and alleged behaviour (not confirmed), particularly when the managers he had (allegedly) clashed with have both been shit. I’ll also add, we live in a world where people want to be angry, people want to blame, people want to hate. I see it home and away in the stands. Yes we are shit at the minute, yes poor choices have been made, yes some players need moving on. but **** me, booing our own players when we need points, is bonkers.
  6. No I have plenty of self respect. I just happen to be able to see others views and perspectives, without judgement, something you are not able to grasp. I also see the inconsistency shown to some players that differ from others that have “disrespected the club” I also understand enough that whilst I’ve been a season ticket holder for 19 years, and it’s shit currently, my frustrations with a players performance doesn’t centre around what they put on social media or how they have allegedly behaved. But if some fans still want to judge, assume, rant and be angry on a Saturday night, so be it.
  7. What did hamza do recently? social media interaction with Sheffield united players, after they beat us? Over the years.. caught driving under the influence, Covid party with other players.. sure there are more examples. im not suggesting we boo hamza, just pointing out other players have “disrespected the club” (proven) but are viewed differently. throw in mahrez sulking at the airport too.
  8. Oh no winks had an Aperol, oh my!! **** him 😆 Not celebrating a goal, at a time when being boo’s by a percentage of our knuckle dragging fans. How dare he!!
  9. I do love the comments that winks is this and that, has said this, disrespected the club etc without no actual 100% proof. Just assumptions, except he holding a placard showing his love for Emzo 😆 yet proven negative behaviour by hamza over many occasions since Covid, are overlooked and downplayed.
  10. Yes our thoughts too
  11. What was telling for me, was the Sheffield united away game. He came on, and myself and my son thought he looked superb in his short cameo. When he wants to show desire he will.
  12. If in May 2016 you were told that in ten years from now, -You would feel disconnect with your club. -That we are a Lower mid table-relegation team -We have no money -The players are players we do not want at our club -The atmosphere is crap, the quality of football is turgid -We have a points deduction looming -That PSR is ruining the game but before then you will see your team win the EPL and FA cup for the first time, plus 3 European trips, and witness one of our players score in 11 consecutive games.. would you accept where we are today, for what we have witnessed? I ask as I believe the owners and large portion of our fan base feel that they would accept where we are today, because it’s been worth it.
  13. I did post Derby game as we didn’t attend, not heard anything. Would be interested to see a poll of who clicked yes to be contacted and if they actually were.
  14. If things were to be believed about Cags anatomy “battle of the bulge”
  15. Thomas, Faes, vesty & Oloki “The usual suspects”
  16. This reminds me of the dystopian world in hunger games. It’s so fake and cringy. My hope is that Trump is being manipulated here, and his ego massaged to stop him being a twat going forward.
  17. The smile in the game last night, amongst my other views is a player who isn’t a “winner” he does not have that extra 5% mindset to be truly great. I’m not naive to not understand players smiling in adversity. Non players do it in all walks of life. But I think with Daka it does strike me as an ever positive guy, but not one then when the chips are down he truly fights for the cause.
  18. Can anybody help or advise please 🤞 We have a Vauxhall Mokka that in recent weeks has developed an intermittent clicking/rattling sound that we believe comes from the front driver side, but we cannot be sure. We usually only hear it when gradual acceleration and we believe when on a straight road. Anyway we booked it in to a reputable local garage last Friday. They didn’t observe anything obvious as they inspected underneath, diagnostics didn’t highlight anything, but they believed the ball joints need repairing and that they are the likely cause of the rattling/clicking. The staff member stated as the ball joints were worn and lacking lubrication this indeed was the likely (and in her words) the only possible cause for the clicking/rattling noise that I had described, in the location I believed it was. Today the car was dropped in, (it was due to be repaired Friday 10th October) but they had a late night slot this evening Thursday 09th October. The repair has cost me £341 to replace the ball joints. When I received the call to say the car was ready, I was told I’d subsequently also need to have tracking done elsewhere as this garage cannot provide tracking, this was not mentioned to me beforehand. This will cost another £40-£50 she informed me. As I drove from garage, I heard the clicking/rattling noise again, and once more across the 2.5 mile drive home. My questions are: Does anyone have any idea what this noise is? As the garage has not repaired the fault, what (if anything) can we do? should they have done the tracking or at least made me aware when the quote was given that I would have to have tracking done elsewhere post repair? it’s to be noted when I received the quote, the lady said that the parts had already been ordered. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
  19. Anyone post game, see the topless Leicester fan being an absolute knob to the home fans? Nearly knocking a young child off her feet too? If your on here, your an embarrassment.
  20. Is he not “he bangs the drums”? incredibly inspiring listening to him talking to Ady, what a guy.
  21. I didn’t see a lack of fight on Sunday in the second half, though just my opinion. I also see a very driven manager, who I think will see ourselves as the biggest club he has managed. As such I don’t believe we will be relegated.
  22. Agree in the main… Though no one (when joining the military) really thinks about when we will have children, and how will we cope being away for months on end, or how being away could impact our relationships. With Winks I’m sure he does spend nights away, particularly away games and pre season training camps. None of us know the true ins/outs of winks dynamic with Ruud. Maybe he was trying to make a point? we all agree though a fresh start is needed.
  23. Maybe you got to spend more time with your newborn than a serviceman serving away in conflict like Afghanistan for 6 months. It’s all relative, but you won’t hear many servicemen comparing themselves with you and the luxuries you may have over them.
  24. You have a really naive view if you believe having wealth means humans cannot be unhappy.
  25. The ideal would be for us as a club (aware this is naive) to start afresh, drop the hate and get behind all the players, no matter our views. but honestly I think too many fans are angry, bitter and ****ed off with life in general and the many **** ups at LCFC. We want to be angry and want someone to blame. I was having the same discussion with my 16 year old son in SK1 on Sunday, seeing pure hate from “fans” to some of our players, is where we are at, sadly. But yes I’d still keep winks 👌
