  1. Sure I’ll be in the minority… but when our fans (or a selection) talk about mindset not being good enough, in my opinion Kele fits into that. plus the fact his pace isn’t good enough, and he’s clumsy, I don’t see him as, as big a loss as others. 8M though is a bit to cheap
  2. This is where I guess others opinions and Perspectives vary. I see Evans a being “past it” and not what we do for the slog of championship football.
  3. I think this is a brilliant signing, he is Prem quality (imo) and a leader, exactly what we need.
  4. This, thought to be expected actually makes me feel gutted. A team like spurs who we have out performed in respect to trophies over the last few years, now have one of our best players for little. But I do understand the situation, we have to sell. Madders supposed attitude: yes he made mistakes (Covid party) but don’t/haven’t we all at times? His interviews were refreshing, mature and he came across as someone well grounded and bought up. It’s no surprise to me, that he wants to stay nearer to his family and his settled home life. Spurs makes sense. people that are bitter harp on about his arrogance, his back pack etc, seriously? He is a winner, if anything he was trying to hard at times like that pass against Bournemouth. I’d rather an arrogant/confident penalty taker against Everton rather than someone who is unsure (Vards), to be the best you need arrogance or sure of yourself. This thread really does highlight the gulf between the bitter, angry “football is my life” group vs those that understand the bigger picture.
  5. As gullible as I could be by this post, I do think it could be real. -He loves being in the midlands, his home, near to Coventry and twins on the way. -I think the only clubs he would consider based on the above are north London and Manchester, other then spurs I cannot see any other clubs based in those areas putting a bid in this summer -Southgate I feel picks Maddison over media and press pressure rather then because he rates him. As such madders playing championship football could (me being cynical here) give Southgate reasons to not select him. -contrary to others views I do feel Maddison will take responsibility for the penalty miss, and did genuinely feel gutted -1 year left on contract, big pay increase at another club next year if we don’t go up thats my logical possibly bonkers based views
  6. You need to have arrogance to be a top player and to be confident to take a penalty.
  7. If the way to punish our children Is to tell them to F*** off whilst pissed, on coke or just bitter and angry I now know where I’ve gone wrong.
  8. Constructive criticism yes…. He looks unfit, overweight. Less mobile etc..I accept this. Though I do disagree that he didn’t care, but each to there own. I take umbrage to the more personal comments or telling him to f*** off etc.. Fofana and mahrez behaved far worse in my opinion. But I do agree that acceptance is important. I am aware for many fans (a large portion younger than me) that live for the club and the games are their release from work/life. As such when we have been as bad as we have, it’s hard for those fans (many of which walked out at H/T at Fulham or when the 4th goal went in) them to not show anger, bitterness and all other behaviours. But I’ll be honest in saying it’s genuinely making me not want to attend games in the future (season ticket and many aways) owing to the bile and vitriol on display, particularly at games. Taking my son to games is my own release, but it’s been tough this season. I am used to bring in aggressive tense environments. Maybe I’m tired of it?
  9. As much as there are a number bitter C***s in this thread, there seems a good portion of more rational reasonable fans. whilst acknowledging youri has not delivered over this season, doesn’t mean he deserves the kind of moronic hate in this thread. I wish him well and will happily clap him if we ever see him back at the KP.
  10. This for me is the main failure this season. Our lack of fitness and athleticism compared to other teams has been shockingly bad. Others will say it’s desire, lack of fight… but anyone that has played sport/competed at a high level will know when you feel physically and mentally exhausted, being able to get stuck in, be intensive is impossible to do.
  11. Thank you for taking the time to post this, and for sharing positive views of our club. yes things are painful at the minute, but when the dust settles (if we do get relegated) all we can do is get behind the team next season and reminisce the good times, Until they happen again.
  12. I think the two end of season CL collapses, within those periods some absolutely shockers (Bournemouth away springs to mind) told me we were psychologically “weak” and fragile, and since then it’s been Getting worse. I predicted we would be relegated this season.
  13. Know he’s just shit, end off.
  14. And nor did I say that those fans have to do what I do.
  15. At least I answered rather then simply putting a 😂 still waiting for your reply to my Q? Maybe your one of those that don’t support the team? I’ll ask again… it’s your right to do whatever you want as you put it, as you pay. As such, how does jeering/booing/leaving early help the team? just curious to know, as if singing or clapping doesn’t work, I’ll follow the lead you (and a large majority) seem to think is okay.
  16. How is it a non answer? your saying they have a right to leave early/jeer/boo as they have paid… I am asking you how is that supporting the team? I look forward to your reply….
  17. Which of course is the same fans that genuinely want us to stay up right? unsure as to walking out early, booing, jeering will help, but if you do, plus those that fo the same, maybe I’m missing something,
  18. Yes do care, “fit” in regards to fitness not good enough. Unsure as to why you need an explanation?
  19. You just being pedantic 😂 you know what was meant, you’ve just made yourself look silly.
  20. Your in the minority of fans that I feel gets it, and you e actually worded it better then my opening post. Agree absolutely 👌
  21. Oh yes if course, those two aforementioned players were crap for us in their last season right? 😂 I live in a house of psychologist, so actually have a good understanding of people. I work in sports development, so fancy my views are more accurate than yours. But each to their own.
  22. I don’t disagree but what actually happens to be up “for a “fight” as you put it? I'm assuming you mean that “will” to get stuck in, to chase the ball down, to press to find space? That’s fight right? the common denominator amongst those above is to do all of that you have to have the fitness at this level to do so. They look physically and mentally knackered in my opinion, they are not doing what they should be doing. I don’t believe that’s a lack of will, I believe they don’t have the acceleration, the speed or the endurance to match other teams at the minute.
  23. Footballers training plans, are directed by the management. They are told when to train and how to train by my understanding. if they are not fit enough as per my opinion, I hold Rodgers ultimately responsible.
  24. I don’t care that you think they don’t. I expressed my opinion . It wasn’t a rallying call, there are to many coked up/drunk fans that **** off when the chips are down to bother with rallying calls. though I am interested to hear your thoughts onto why you think they don’t care? I’ve given my own theory as to why I have my view, i.e they are unfit, lack of confidence etc.. Fans like you want to make your own views to match your own narrative.
