Brazil v Morocco will be a good technical game hopefully and surely Scotland will win ?

Ah fair enough. Yes good point - certainly was very robust despite getting the ball first . -
Oh dear. Not a good start for England at their training camp! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cwyldy8w0jpo

Group D: United States, Australia, Paraguay, Türkiye

USA certainly been impressive . Fast start and the early goal helps . -
Knockout stages start tomorrow. A few surprises with France, Spain and Norway going through and the Aussies out.

So which poor souls albeit paid for it are they dragging out at 2am our time for New Zealand v Iran or 5am when Jordan play? I guess with so many teams and players to talk about and learn you will get some pundits looking a bit lost and clueless when talking about some of the lesser lights. So long as none of them go "England will definitely win x game" as that usually ends badly.

Why spend ages talking about a situation that was irrelevant as it was offside? -

Think all teams do. -
Very impressive. Hopefully the rain stays away and they can finish the tournament.

Yes that is right although Red Bull and Mclaren are going to appeal now maybe just to prove a point?

Rules relaxed on hair pulling . Just be more subjective decision making then ? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cvgqrlkr24zo

Pleased for Gasly but doesn’t this set a dangerous precedent? Will the other teams affected now appeal . https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/articles/cevlg742y3do

Gone but not forgotten and certainly not the death list

Apparently so unfortunately. RIP Kenny . A true WFC legend - 400 appearances and success as a coach too . Will be sadly missed . -

Son could have had a couple himself . 2-1 flattered the Czechs by the looks of it . -
Potentially awkward situation for Trippier and Wolves if true . Did he sign because of Edwards then rather than the club ? https://x.com/SportsPeteO/status/2065161747149766687

Although in this game both sides Cohn’s say they had a man harshly sent off so kind of even but yes wouldn’t be a surprise to see bias and favouritism as usual. -

Kind of set a standard now which isn’t good as everyone will expect all refs to give the same decisions. -

Hopefully not going to be a theme . Soft looking red cards . Mexico been the better team unsurprisingly. -

Mexico will be glad the football can start and they get some attention. A repeat of the 2010 opening game of course. -
Waste of time him going there then . Obviously wasn’t just appointed with next season mind regardless of relegation. Have to say Wolves fans have been very critical towards Edwards though and happy to see him go .
-
Seems Rob Edwards might be getting replaced at Wolves ? https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/2064838763570733105

Good solid strong performance against a particularly physical team .

More engine changes agreed by the FIA and teams over the next two years. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/articles/c4gyx07dg84o

Apparently it’s US law to delay games too . England would have probably wanted do get on with it if anything .
