Been well impressed with him to be fair, can definitely see how he'd be class down the middle. He's so comfortable on the ball, the way he can take the ball on the turn is majestic. When he's lost it, he's tended to be isolated. Would much rather a player looking to do something than turning back and killing all momentum.

He got into the PFA team of the year at this level with Norwich. He's also going to be playing under a manager that I fancy is better than the 2 he played under last year. I expect he will do well for us this season. He was just such an unnecessary signing at the time.

This has always been how I've thought about it. It's why I enjoy the A League and MLS as well. Less robotic and more entertaining. The only thing that really annoys me is the media absolutely ramming it down your throat. I don't have the news and sports channels bigging up Peterborough Sports or Melbourne City. Nothing more annoying than hearing "Arsenal face Liverpool tonight" or "Chelsea are set to confirm their new signing this evening" and being confused as, before you realise they're discussing the WSL version. While the media and various popular figures are trying to compare the two, then the knob inside me also feels the need to compare the two.
