Premier League 2025/26 Thread

I think we can just see that a guy purposefully moved to stop the ball going at goal with his arm -
-
All he's said is what people want to hear though. Words really mean nothing without action. For example, Marti's saying all the right things but then what we're seeing doesn't match up with his words so far. I'm a fan of open regular communication and keeping fans informed so they can have realistic expectations. Just coming out and saying "I'm going to buy players and a stadium" means nothing really though. I'd think even less of him if he came out and made hollow empty promises. He's just not a leader, which isn't really the main issue. The main issue is that he doesn't realise or acknowledge it.
-
Has he received offer from other clubs/companies that wanted to poach him?
-
That's fair, I definitely did mean to write "some" in there . I just wrote it too early and it lost it's meaning in the 2nd sentence. I say this as I know older family members who couldn't even name 11 players that go week in week out as they've done it for the last 40-50 years I also know plenty of old boys that can talk football all day and have a very decent knowledge and enjoyment of the game.
-
I actually think in some instances this isn't true, I'm fairly confident that the older sections of the fanbase purely go to watch us out of habit these days. It's no different than their weekly trip to Morrisons to block the aisles while they have a chat. On the original topic, it seems fair and courteous for the first 5 or 6 rows to be sitting, we're going to have some fans that want or need to sit down. It's a small portion of the allocation and there's a tonne of space behind. I do think after that it should be pretty much fair game unless some old boy has been stiffed by the ticket office.

Moyes rocking up to Elland Road and setting up like hes playing Real Madrid. Leeds deserved the win and I agree with the pen shout. Tarkowski knew was he was doing, he just probably thought he would get away with it -
In that case your I'd like to change my statement. Demanded high standards of all at the club and it was clear the players loved him. Winks clearly loved him.
-
As a man manager I think he was excellent, one his major ticks. Demanded high standards of all at the club and it was clear the players loved him.
-
On reflection I think Hrgovic is actually a great next fight. The only man to KO him is Dubois and it took him 8 rounds. If Itauma gets Hrgovic out inside 5 rounds I literally don't know what more he can do to prove himself that he deserves the chance to fight and show he's the best.
-
It does sound correct.

Haha just the satisfaction of being proven right over and over again. Gotta take the small joys when following this club under the current ownership. Much prefer it to the option of delusion that a lot take comfort in

Can't wait to see that knob Nathan Jones dropping to his knees and celebrating like he's singlehandedly won the world cup, in front of the Sky Cameras when Charlton score their winner. That's gonna be fun.

I reckon Vesty would beat Cunha in a 50m sprint -
Just watching the highlights. Watching vesty get exposed is always satisfying. It should really not be uncommon to want your defenders to primarily actually be able to defend. Fair play Monga, lovely goal. Awful celebration from our guys. Fist pump from Justin and a polite applause from Ayew. Only Faes went upto him
-
Agree to disagree. He's dispatching fighters with ease. Its like making Yamal play for the u21s. What do you mean Whyte in bad shape? Obviously not physically as he looked in the best nick hes looked in years. I think its fair to want him to work through the levels but im not going to be shocked when he puts Hrgovic or Wardley on their arse within 6 minutes.
-
He's got the brutal power of a heavyweight but moves like a middleweight. Unbelievable specimen of a man. I fancy it'll be Hrgovic next but I think hes ready for Dubois, Kabayel or Parker. Ball v Goodman was a great scrap as well. Dubois v Itauma and Ball v Inoue would make an incredible card. Throw Sheeraz v Canelo in there for good measure as well

Fed up of people underestimating Moses Get that man against the best
-
It would have helped immensely had they not accidentally put the pictures with KBET on the club app
-
Just mainly so people don't forget about how laughable this is. Do we think we're looking for a different sponsor now? Of all seasons, this doesn't feel like the one where the club could go without having a shirt sponsor.
-
I'm sure he must have, but does anyone remember Daka touching the ball? (I did miss 75-85 so maybe he did then) Not blaming him, it's the system at fault, but my god. It's like playing with 10 men.

5 pretty terrible pens Fair players to the Udders
-
Gimme that over the keeper chucking his cap on it as it trickles to the line Staggers me that pros don't back themsleves to hit a shot with pace in the top 3rd of the goal
