  1. I thought this but MLS window doesn't open until July.
  2. I guess he might actually be injected up to the gills and be physically unable to play next week.
  3. Might be the only thing this season that's been consistent
  4. I wouldn't read too much into it, our comms team have got the comprehension of an enthusiastic toddler.
  5. They lost Burrows, he's a top top talent. Poku and Kyprianu will go on to be good Championship players. Think the only other 'raw' talent i've mentioned is Ricky Jade Jones. Given how competitive league 1 is these days, 3 decent players isn't going to get you far. Especially not with Fergusson in charge.
  6. That’s class! Game on
  7. They look rather terrified by Orients intensity so far
  8. 10 mins in and im fully invested in wellens ball
  9. I forgot Sunderland nearly did back to back!
  10. Re - Ipswich, i'm not sure McKenna is a dead cert for next season either, well at least not all of it. He'll be the first on bottom half of prem list if anyone gets off to a bad start. His stock was very high last summer and I think there's been a continued love in for him this season, despite results. There's a lot of uncertainty around Marco Silva at Fulham too (saudi), could see him being an option there.
  11. 2 years left on the inital lease...
  12. Ooooooofffttttttttt
  13. Writing a note like that, about how you care about your employees first and foremost.... and then throwing your medical team under the bus is peak Maranakis. He could have easily gone down the 'blame the offside rule' route. Bloke doesn't care about anyone but himself. Having said all that I hope the physio with those horrific chops has been sacked, don't want him on my telly again.
  14. Completely agree with you both, think he's done an excellent job. I think he's doing things the right way too, the Chelsea gigs were a freebie for him really, but he's not got tickets on himself that have made him think 'no way I drop down a league'. This year is a bit of an anomaly really, essentially the top 3 are worlds ahead of the rest, Sunderland were up there too but burned out... then really whoever the other two play off teams were going to be were never going to be at the required level. 2 from Bristol City, Cov, Milwall, Boro, Blackburn and West Brom... not a shread of consistency in results between them.
  15. Do you reckon Frank gets over that and goes again next season? Or is he straight on the phone to his agent trying to get the Rangers job ahead of Ancelotti? Not sure about his mentality but looked broken for that to have happened to him again.
  16. Pleased to have cleared it up for you I was very in the moment last night, it's been nice to enjoy football again the last few days! I believe Mann is on comms tonight for League 1
  17. PCC XI vs Zimbabwe starts at Grace Road tomorrow, think it's mostly second XI lads who have had a few starts at first class level. Alex Green the Leicestershire representative. Josh De Caires will captain a Professional County Club Select XI in their four-day tour game against Zimbabwe Men at Leicester this week. De Caires, 23, has made 21 first-class appearances for Middlesex and leads a 13-player squad which also includes Warwickshire all-rounder Dan Mousley and Yorkshire leg-spinner Jafer Chohan. Mousley made his England Men’s debut during last winter’s white-ball tour of the Caribbean while Chohan earned his maiden international call-up for that same trip. Essex all-rounder Luc Benkenstein and Somerset wicketkeeper-batter Thomas Rew have both previously captained England Men U19s. Andrew Flintoff will coach the team alongside Mike Yardy, Neil Killeen, Sarah Taylor, Mark Wood and Neil McKenzie. The four-day match begins at the Uptonsteel County Ground on Thursday 15 May. PCC Select XI squad: Josh De Caires (Middlesex - captain), Archie Bailey (Gloucestershire), Luc Benkenstein (Essex), Jafer Chohan (Yorkshire), Ben Dawkins (Kent), Alex Green (Leicestershire), Eddie Jack (Hampshire), Mitch Killeen (Durham), Ben Mayes (Hampshire), Seb Morgan (Middlesex), Dan Mousley (Warwickshire), Thomas Rew (Somerset), Jamal Richards (Essex).
  18. I'm not sure you can take much from a 2 innings game with a 500 and 600 scored. But I do like him in general.
  19. Just circling back to commentator debate... i've had a bit of a mare, it's Daniel Mann who I like, I will say I thought Gary Weaver did a good job of letting the atmosphere do the talking last night though.
  20. I don't think it helps that he has to sit next to Don Goodman and the other twat every week. Genuinely think he's great and they drag him down desperately attempting 'banter' The addition of Jobi tonight was gentle relief from Goodman
  21. So we get to watch boring Sheff U stink up the prem yet again?
  22. Saw the commentator getting stick on here earlier, always thought he's great, especially in play offs and big moments, never speaks over celebrations, just lets the crowd do the talking.
  23. Sounds like me ordering a Kebab from bossman....
