We’re at the point of this bonkers season where Bouba Soumare is our most consistent performer
-
Well this is easily the best football we’ve played all season. Need to make the most of it!
-
I think we need to ease off on the Okoli moans. He’s clearly a young lad who hasn’t settled. No team in their right mind would sell someone who has actually looked decent six months after buying… also the “doesn’t fit in Ruuds plans” narrative is to protect the players reputation in case he feels like he can move abroad again in a few years.
-
Sorry should have expanded. Agreed to sign him in between summer and Jan so it went through quickly as a result
-
Signed him in the summer to be fair.
-
Also I can definitely see a late late move for Lindelof, had a nice cosey new years eve at Mads house with Hojlund and Kristensen. Ooooooh SKANDI FRIENDS Feels like the obvious panic/convenience signing after we've tried everything else. Nominal fee ahead of being out of contract.
-
I'll go full cynical... Mads has a low relegation release clause Pep lost his head with Ortega last night so he's now pissed off both his goalkeepers. They'll ship Ederson to Saudi this month Cash in now for £40-50m
-
He's busy settling in to his new flat in Nottingham which will ruffle a few "cured pork product"* feathers *didn't learn my lesson last time I used the G word....
-
Anyone at Stuttgart a possibility? Rather lovely new PJ flew in to EMA today and flys out tonight. (i'm at that level of desperate already yes)
-
Yep, he flew in on Monday
-
Also as an aside, scheduling of womens games is still shocking isn't it. How hard would it have been for the game tonight to not be played on exactly the same day/time as a mens fixture? Would have loved to go, live in Notts so nice and easy... but no... pretty sure it was the same last round too? *Didn't realise about the postponement, the last game at Notts County was definitely a clash though.
-
You can sort of understand the move in the womens game. Rangers and Glasgow City regularly hit double figures goals in their matches and Celtic aren't far off either. If it is just Celtic and Rangers though that's harsh, Glasgow City have been the established womens side for longer, and currently in the league Celtic sit 5th
-
To be fair, all Sunderland are missing is a good striker.
-
Brilliant bit of refereeing in the Chelsea game. Cucurella being a bellend as always, VAR TV check for red card and ref was having none of it!
-
The U21's have still got 10 games left this season, plenty of game time, start a fresh next season after trying to get a bit stronger if possible. And if he starts tearing things up he might get some first team minutes. Much rather he was back here playing any sort of football than stuck up in Scotland with a manager who has made some very odd subs throughout the season already.
-
I imagine Okoli perhaps just hasn't settled along with not being in Ruud's plans. All the rumours suggest a direct sale, you don't do that unless someone really doesn't want to be away from home anymore.
-
Not going very ****ing well if they have been
-
Arrived yesterday.
-
You know what I meant, pain in the arse
-
I'm pretty sure Willian doesn't know anything exists outside of London

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

It’s really not that deep. The club will have deals with agents, maybe even sponsors. In our case they own quite a bit of property, perfect for new signings/new managers. Cooper would have been put in the Trent penthouse if he didn’t already live in south notts. Just like Tete was and Fofana before him (think they’re the 3 who have been in there so far) That entire complex was built for HNW individuals and it’s no surprise KP fancied a slice of it. As I said they’ve gone on to buy similar properties along the Trent. One of which Fatawu lives in. At the end of the day it’s a good city, great food scene, close to the training ground from south Notts. If anything it’s better than players living all over the shop, we were in that position under Pearson and Ranieri for sure. -

They own at least one penthouse in that building for sure, and I believe Fatawu’s place further down the Trent. So for those saying “they should live in Leicestershire” the club aren’t helping with that Dont see any problem with it to be honest… probably because I live in Nottingham though
