  1. Aye how much did we sign Golding for again fella?
  2. I imagine if you add up the amount we've spent on marketing the total would be more like..... £389m
  3. You don't expect that sausage from stoke to attempt any sort of pronunciation do you? He's got about as much personality as a dead sloth.
  4. I appreciate your insight especially given your background. I'm purely coming at it from a commercial/marketing (my background) point of view. Fill seats... make more money, introduce new customers to a more premium product and then hook them in at a higher price point next time around. The cheapest package for Portsmouth is £234. For context, if we played Portsmouth in the league cup last season (and minus the buffet) you could get that seat for £50. There's room for another tier or two for sure, especially while we're in the Championship. There's loads of innovation in hospitality at the minute, some clubs are even introducing outdoor marquees or 'beer hall' type settings where it's a more casual experience with street food and pints, then you go to your nicer seat/nicer half time area. It just comes back to the fact this club never innovates, we only stand still. Interesting you mention Brighton being the best, their "Heineken Club" package which is unlimited food and beer comes out cheaper than any of our "bottomless options" even for an A grade Premier League game....
  5. You’d agree we’d both have rather different views of the situation with you sitting within it and me looking directly at it right? I can’t tell if sections of the kop are full/empty while I’m in it. Point still stands for me, the commercials are wrong for a season in the championship and there’s not enough new/interesting options. Ipswich for example have about 15 packages ranging from £80 to £300
  6. Fair enough. Was just trying to have a laugh because of how serious and on the clubs side you sounded You are completely wrong on the sponsor thing though 👍 And no… not a “tree agitator”, I just live here like most of our playing squad and quite a lot of other supporters
  7. Random bit of insight into this one. Aaron was a client of Chef Jonny Marsh who does private cooking for footballers in the north west, he’s a bit of a social media personality too. Just posted a video saying “Friday was my last day with Aaron” Guess it just goes to show transfers aren’t as last minute as they seem sometimes, even if they’re announced at the very last second after a deadline shuts
  8. You’re totally wrong. Starting to wonder who you might be given the defensive tone this evening 🤔
  9. Weirdly angry response…. The area of the west stand behind the directors was easily half empty if not more about twenty minutes in on Friday.
  10. I’m not sure why the concept of 300 people paying £100-150 is better than 0 people paying £300 is so lost on them
  11. Why are we bothered about his pace? All his finishes are poaching goals from crosses or balls being worked into the box, which is what Marti is after. Every striker we were linked with was 6ft plus with ability both aerially and with their feet. We're not still in our Vardy era... the Daka era never started. New manager, new style, lets see how he gets on.
  12. This is such a good idea on so many levels, which is exactly why it won't happen. With their current hype it could do us just as much good as it does them!
  13. Interesting one this, probably 3/4 of hospitality was empty on Friday night, because they're still charging Premier League prices. I've only ever been when it's paid for by work BUT, it's my 35th and Dad's 70th on the Portsmouth game, we were meant to be going away but can't now.... and with the kick off time it's perfect for a free bar/free food type celebration for us, i'd happily have paid £120-£150 each as a one off, but it's literally £250-300 each! Doesn't look like they plan to do any special offers at all or discount this, so it will remain empty all season!
  14. Rennes confirmed James one does. That's all i've seen though.
  15. Newport one is an interesting choice. They've had a tough start and hired a manager who has only ever coached at Development level. Personally would have loved to see the lads at a Notts County, Grimsby or Bromley who impressed against Ipswich. Overall I think we really need to improve our loan network, i'm pleased they've gone together, just don't think they've gone to the right place.
  16. Them: 😭😭😭😭 they said we were. A bunch of middle aged unqualified blokes who didn’t have any personality!!! ChatGPT: Might I suggest the use of the eye emoji?
  17. Absolutely lethal now they’ve discovered the 👀 emoji
  18. I think Glasner will be at Leverkusen by the end of the international break.
  19. “Macquarie and Me” will be the title of John Rudkins memoirs
  20. He might be and that’s none of our business
  21. Kin’ell its 19 degrees outside man!
  22. Miquel on ChatGPT: “that Eastenders one has gone down really well, any chance you could do one in the style of an angry Flemish mum who has found a bottle of gin at 11am and subsequently found three more after? Side note, she’s an estate agent”
  23. Naaa Phil Mitchell is still God Tier
  24. We need to get a grip on @Miquel The Work Geordie burner accounts
