Yeah JJ will go on to be one of the best signings we’ve made in years. More like him in Jan please!

Average first half entertainment then -
Was 23 when he was with us, first chance to go out competitive minutes in a tough league. Personally think we should have used our option on him to, he'd have done no worse than anyone else in that relegated side! Especially given how many minutes bobby the decorator got. The game before we got him on loan he destroyed a skandi side (can't remember who) in a UCL quali, there was clearly talent there. Probably go on to have a really good Gala career, perhaps get another move but wouldn't be surprised if he just stuck it out with them.

Checks agent..... yep....

I’m hoping I’ve not completely made this up but I’m sure I’ve heard Pep, Martinez and others hold up Silva as someone who is going to be an elite coach in the future. Certainly one of the cleverest I’ve seen in this league, seems to see about 4 or 5 steps ahead of everyone!

21’s not playing until Friday so no reason he can’t do both? -

I got both a very very soggy chilli costume and a bit of sunburn yesterday. Wild -
Ramsey lives there and JJ would have probably being joining Wales and I think they either train in Wrexham or Cardiff so guessing Wrexham this time. Probably made the most sense timing wise.

Not heard Titch mentioned much, but he's clearly got something too. Determined to make a new career after his playing one was cut short, he'll have had a big impact on things too!

Was there a specific head of ticketing or are you referring to the old commercial director? -
There's every chance, on their current trajectory, they both make the 2030 world cup squad. Crackers.

Until New Years Eve when Dowman turns 16 anyway

Was a pleasant surprise to see 40-1 with Patel still at the crease

I believe that will be the club putting as little effort as possible into a mandatory post, which is absolutely fair enough!

Can we not?

Looking forward to Nuno being a big success in his next job.

Brilliant that! Can’t wait for Saturday -
Is there any chance we don’t get Green for Monday now? I know the agreement was 3 games but wonder if it was finals day dependent? I know a lot of the Somerset players will play Monday to Thursday too so perhaps okay.

I’d say we’re quite well known for it.

It doesn’t seem like previous U17 groups where it was full of superstars, they’ve all skipped a group or two, the U19’s are really the “traditional” U17’s now. Wouldn’t be surprised if Dowman and Monga feature for Carsley before the end of the season too. Just goes to show how the emergence of 3 or 4 genuine wonderkids has changed things. I was reading today Dowman had to be officially registered for the champions league because UEFA never considered a 15 year old would be good enough to be registered so not included as “b list” youngsters De Lisle is currently in the U17 squad and he’s only just appeared for us at that level so I imagine the U17’s will be quite experimental this year.
