I was wondering what the football reminded me of The thing is we actually needed a Puel type to come in, find the odd diamond (James and Ramsey) and develop some younger players. Whose to say it is? Working for a football club in any 'matchday' capacity is only ever going to work if you have a very understanding family or don't mind missing out on things. Perhaps the new role gives him flexibility/more time at home. Also it's a title promotion regardless of whether the pay is better. Personally surprised he's never really moved up with us, well liked, never been removed by new managers.

He's been here since last Wednesday, not sure it'll be for our benefit as flew to London rather than EMA, either way perhaps some more going on behind the scenes during the break.
