  1. The reason for this is that they are so desperate to get cash into their business they think enough people will let it wash through they’ll have enough cash through the books to survive May and June. And the majority of the ‘support’ is turning the other way and clapping the shite served up on the pitch. Last season was sleepwalking to relegation. Now it’s sleepwalking right out of existence.
  2. This post sums up everything that’s wrong. A regime that rewards failure, that’s tone deaf, that is now getting increasingly desperate as it knows how close it is to completely running out of cash flow. A decent number of people said it last season and are saying it again now, if supporters think this is as bad as it gets there’s a big surprise coming. The regime are putting this famous club, the impossible dreamers, out of business. How more supporters aren’t actually understanding this is absolutely beyond me.
  3. James watch… he’s stood up in the wales huddle. Only positive is that when he went off Cullen was ready very quickly, possibly planned.
  4. Probably ruled out anyway with the way this season has gone
  5. Maybe they were going to take him off as a precaution after 60 anyway and hurried it along when they scored the goal. He shouted over towards the bench after celebrating with the players.
  6. Take a player off southamptons hands, pay him very well to add absolutely no value to us whatsoever. Martyn Glover masterclass
  7. ‘Picking a team I can trust and one to stamp out mistakes.’ Selects Okoli
  8. Been mentioned but Bristol were absolutely awful. Totally shite, so difficult to know how good we were, but at least they seemed arsed tonight. Sharper in tackles, quicker onto second balls, trying to play through lines more quickly consistently through the game. It looked like pretty much all of them cared and wanted to fight for the team. Hopefully that’s what continues
  9. Hoping to shithouse a point at home while in the bottom 3 One thing this club is good at is finding new depths of despair week in week out to sink to
  10. It can’t be the manager making these decisions, that’s the only conclusion i can draw. We’ve had Cooper, RVN, Cifuentes, King and now Rowett all consistently picking Reid and Ayew, and Choudhury given captaincy when playing. What the **** have we become
  11. Souttar, Thomas, Choudhury, Reid, Kristiensen, Skipp will continue to stink the team out next season because none of them will take a pay cut to go elsewhere, and even if they would very few would have any interest. We will have to play them as there won’t be the headroom to replace them with anyone else. Will be these disgraces plus our 2nd rate youngsters, as anyone we can get a pure profit fee for will be long gone.
  12. It’s probably too late now anyway given how much time it would take to sell… and what new owner comes in when the club is pretty much insolvent and has to take on completely unsustainable infrastructure and playing costs for the amount of revenue the club will be able to generate in league one. The only way we will be rid of these ****ers is if we are forced into administration. Even then, we aren’t going to have people queuing round the block to take it on - if we do go down we have pretty much the entire wage bill we would need in league one already spent on 5 or 6 contracted, awful players. Reading came very close, Sheff Weds are finding out how difficult it is to turn it around. I think we will be trumping both of them. This could easily be the biggest professional club to fold in the history of English football.
  13. Do not understand how so many people don’t seem to realise the state we are in. The second podcast by Methven, if even half true, is absolutely horrifying. If we really have burned through a lot of the cash for next years parachute payments and the full McAteer, Cannon and Justin sales already then we are basically insolvent come July if we are in league one. Carrying the championship level wages of Vestergaard, Reid, Choudhury, Thomas, Okoli and Souttar into league one will bankrupt us. The fire sale of any playing asset will be needed to offset the loans and interest on them and there’ll be nowhere to borrow more from to fund the cash needed to operate the club. Basically we go down, the club collapses.
  14. State of our club, more peril in whether Pompey and Blackburn are winning in pissing February.
  15. Community service that is. Preventing listeners from pain
  16. Not a chance he comes anywhere near us. If he wants another job in England there will be plenty of offers. The lack of any movement towards appointing a manager tells you that either they are hopelessly slow or are unable to get anyone with any ability to express interest in joining the oblivion spiral.
  17. Just beyond me how thousands of people can see this is an existential problem ahead of us and the decision makers are seemingly oblivious to it. Mind boggling
  18. Yep plus the clueless moron said in an interview 4 hours before hand that Marti needed time and support. Club find new ways to become a parody of themselves weekly. Sheer, utter incompetence of the highest order. Once again they complacently planned for Kingy to get quick results so they wouldn’t have to react. Not that they’ll have told him that either of course.
  19. Exactly this. It’s the 50% of revenue the season after next which will be the absolute killer. No one will take Thomas off us, and so his salary alone could easily be 15/20% of the entire allowable player wage bill for the season. Horrifying.
  20. Dyche Stone and Woan may be up for a deal to the summer. Quicker for Woan to drive into Seagrave than the Forest training ground from where he lives. They’ve only been back in work for 4 months. 3 month contracts with a bonus for avoiding relegation then reassess. We stay up they may be up for a rebuild we go down there’s no damage to their reputation as there’s already the narrative this is on the players and ownership. if we don’t at least try then the club deserves exactly what’s coming
  21. We are in sooooo much shit next season when we go down.
  22. I’d take a team of McKinlays and Sumerbees now over every single one of the players we’ve got. Came and trained for free when we were in the shit and both helped us that season.
  23. Joe Hammill, Josh Low, Elvis (ankle) Hammond etc were shite, of that there’s absolutely no doubt. As were Alan Paris, Tony Spearing etc of the turn of the 90s. However they were paid peanuts, cost peanuts and none of them had egos on the pitch. If you take into account levels of shite combined with how much money they fleeced from the club for the garbage they turn out week after week, and/or how much we paid for them, this would be the XI I’d pick, every one of them makes me feel sick to my stomach and half of them we are trusting to get us out of the shit this season. Ward Choudhury Matt Mills Faes Thomas (c) Winks Soumare Kristiensen Wise Ayew Daka
  24. If last night hasn’t woken the detestable bunch of ***** on the board up then nothing will. Problem is, as per Rodgers-gate, it’s too late. Not a chance the bunch of pathetic mercenaries and inexperienced kids we’ve got on the pitch will do enough to get us out of this mess. Strolling Joe Aribo our battling midfielder. Jesus wept. Using a loan on a kid who’s never actually started a senior game. The decision making of the mob running the show deserves relegation. The problem is that this just makes everything much much much worse.
