Disagree, genuinely think we need a culture setter, an experienced head to reset the tone of the club. I think Enzo was able to do that partially but we all saw the drop in the back half once we got figured out. Nigel would never do it, but I am thinking of someone like him, to get his tentacles everywhere. We need a figurehead to steer the ship. I don’t think a Carrick, a Rosenior, could do that.

He slides next to Winks in possession, gives freedom for Bilal and Facundo to get on the ball. Aim to absorb pressure and counter. There’s enough defensive presence there but absolutely no brains. Hoping numbers back with getting the ball to the two creators quickly opens things up for Vardy and Ndidi to get on the end of something. Would be tempted to play Faes to instruct him to step out of CB with the ball which we know he can do well, but he does not deserve to be anywhere near the team this week. Fill bench with youth, Braybrooke, Evans, Monga at a minimum. Not because I think they deserve a chance, but because the current squad is predictable, and to get anything out of games we need an element of unknown. It is unfair to put our hopes of survival on them, but we need a surprise or two and it’s not coming from the current setup.

I disagree but I’m not going to argue with you, I literally don’t care any more. Scenes of people leaving after 3rd goal went in were stronger than the protest so far. I applaud the efforts but those empty seats being visible for the majority of the game spoke volumes. Wish RVN would start briefing against the club to Neville/Keane.
