I’d take Pearson in as DOF in a heartbeat. Not because he’s the best man for the job. Not because of his links to the club. Because the man knows how to set up a team around him to function well. A “whole of club” approach that has been weathered away post title win. Now obviously he won’t want the stress of day to day managing the club top to bottom. A consultancy role with the ability to conduct meaningful change would do me lovely.
