Dennis Praet was great and all of you were wrong.

Caring does not equal competence. I care about this club but doesn’t mean I’d be a competent manager. Why is he having to write off the debt? Why are we in the position that we literally cannot sign anyone in January, and we only survived PSR last year because Chelsea took our two biggest assets in June? Why is there no cohesion in hiring managers, in signing players, in pathways for youth? It falls on Top to ensure the team he has put in place can manage these known challenges effectively. He has failed.

Play him at RB.
-
Which I think speaks to the heart of our development pathways - the young lads aren’t challenged enough to be able to breakthrough. Braybrooke, Silko and Amari have not had consistent game time, Wanya is earning a spot back after injury. Players like Popov who tear it up at youth level, are struggling. Whilst obviously I want our players to be playing 90 mins a week, part of me think this is not a bad thing, let’s find out why they’re not playing and help them get better. It shows them what they’re missing to get in the team, not just that they’re the “next big thing” and to stop believing their own hype. Monga can’t go on loan, but I want to see him challenged.

Was unaware it was a promotion based obligation - I hadn’t read that.
-
Not sure you know what an obligation means fella!
-
I’d love to know what we think is an acceptable bid then. £8m for Kasey £5m for Thomas Even if we didn’t get replacements in and used academy players, that’s £13m back on PSR that we don’t have to panic about in June, or helps us up on the three year average. Literally could be club saving.

Welcome to Limp Island!

And that’s absolutely fine - but this is why the protest is important. It provides the context on what the fans are unhappy about, not just that we’re unhappy about a loss. There is a difference between “THE TEAM” and “THE CLUB”. Booing during the 90 is not something I’m on board with, but you can absolutely go against the club hierarchy during that time.
-
Grow up mate, you can walk and chew gum at the same time. You can support RVN and the players whilst demanding change from the group that put us in a relegation fight for the second consecutive Premier League season. Supporting the club unconditionally does not mean supporting the hierarchy unconditionally

Random / Semi Unheard of Players you’ve spotted that we should look at

Tolu Arokodare at Genk STRONG 6’5 striker, 24 years old. 14 goals in 23 matches, 5 assists. Leading golden boot. https://youtu.be/mqn1QLDNQ9g?si=XjjPujDFIJddzeu9 -
You’re spot on (assuming the £30m player signs on a five year deal) but remember that £6m is only covering one season of a £30m signing. It absolutely enables us to sign someone (or bank profit pending financial situation), but it isn’t the equivalent of a £30m signing in totality. Hopefully you’d recoup most of that cost by wages leaving in the summer, sale of other assets, or increased revenue again from PL money.

Werner will score then head to RB New York instead of Daka

If you have a negative culture then Seagrave would exacerbate it. Elite players wouldn’t have the culture of “I made it”. it would be “I have the facilities to leave no stone unturned”.

Needs to be Nasser Hussain the way we need runs on the board
