  5. Douglas McLay Admin Group expert So this morning we hear on BBC Breakfast that the government will fund reconfiguring rail infrastructure around Greater Manchester to enable Old Trafford to be rebuilt. This will cost billions. Yet apparently they can't find a measily £100m for a shovel ready scheme to give the A511 corridor a rail service and connect three struggling towns a connection to the National Railway network. We are asking ourselves why our area is consistently being ignored......
  6. Most of ours have closed or gone upmarket.
  7. Consultations generally are just a sop to satisfy regulations, decisions have already been made in the minds of those hiding behind them. They will have already worked out what they want and the costs involved and then employ subtle and not so subtle methods to ensure they get their way, even then if it doesn't they'll come up with a pre-determined scheme to ensure they get their way. Councils are often the worse.

  10. Sky Sports News @SkySportsNews Leicester midfielder Hamza Choudhury will undergo a medical at Sheffield United today The deal is a loan until the end of the season with an option to buy According to the Sheffield Star, the delay in completing the deal is down to Leicester’s insistence on including an obligation to buy in the loan move. However, the Blades were only comfortable with an option to buy on the chance they don’t secure a return to the Premier League at the first attempt. But, those issues have seemingly been ironed out and the final details remain before the midfielder moves on.

Because Spurs are a 'big 6' club and are expected to win trophies we're just parochial upstarts who don't know their place.

  16. In most of the FA Cup’s history, ticket pricing for visiting fans had to be agreed by both competing clubs, however a 2017 FA rule change freed up host clubs to effectively charge whatever they like. The FA pandering to the big clubs again
  17. So many places outside Leicester. I come form Hinckley via Littlethorpe that's enough for me. After 50+ years this will probably be my last my, son is thinking the same. More disillusionment than anything else.
  18. You can’t blame an inanimate place for LCFC failings blame those who decide how it is best used. The apparent pampering of the players including the academy needs to be reviewed a bit of Jock Wallace would probably help if not physically maybe psychologically.
  19. Just watched Dark Waters about DuPont and their polluting of the world with the waste from the manufacture of Teflon. Absolutely mind blowing that they could get away with it and companies are still knowingly and globally wrecking the earth.
  20. The club is skating on thin ice with this.
