  1. Seen Vardy's at the Asian Awards tonight. You just know Liew's sat there thinking to himself that Vardy's only doing it to save face. Guy's a prat.
  2. Worse for me was the suggestion from Rory Smith that other players subconsciously want us to win the league and as such are going easy on us. Chris Sutton and Townsend shut him down pretty quickly but it is a suggestion I've seen made on social media by Arsenal and Spurs fans quite a lot over the last few days. They are mental.
  3. The reason most people sing WYS so quickly is because they aren't sure of the middle lines. So many people sing 'crying/crying' rather than 'crying/sighing' - it's just a bit awkward for everyone
  4. Liew supports Arsenal and Spurs. He is the worst person in football journalism irrespective of his views on Vardy.
  5. Yes. PayPal - [email protected] Credit/Debit - see unionfs.co.uk Bank transfer - email [email protected] for details.
  6. Hilarious how Spurs have seemingly become what they have mocked Arsenal for for years.
  7. Now that Newcastle have been all over football awaydayz singing 'Mitro's on fire, your defence is terrified' (apparently nicked from Preston re Adam Reach) to this tune, maybe we'll actually start singing it more. HIS NAME'S N'GOLO KANTE!
  8. I spoke to a Newcastle fan on Monday night after the game and he said he's done around 24/25 PL away games since 2006 (lives in Leicester so no priority and struggles to get tickets) and hasn't seen them win once. That's their 9th consecutive away game on MNF too. Lost them all. Absolute bullshit that they should all be away - blatantly obvious Sky cba to travel all the way up there in midweek.
  9. Loudest last night was 'Down with the Villa' - another example.I am more than happy for the clappers to stay for the rest of this season but for superstition purposes only. Once we've sewn the title up the first job before we organise the open top bus parade will be to cut ties with the clap banner provider and give them the number to Hull or Reading.
  10. At £36 a pop or whatever it aswell. Quite frankly those that travelled are a bit weird (I am fairly sure they weren't able to sell any further tickets following Rafa's appointment). Those suggesting we'd take any more in the same circumstance are completely deluded.
  11. Can't speak for West Ham although their lad on here seems decent. Palace on the other hand definitely have a deluded faction. Not quite on North London scale but still special. Plenty of references in this thread where they refer to us as 'Championship divs' or continued insistence that they have a better squad than us. They may beat us at the weekend and still be almost 30 pts behind. Their belief that they invented football support in this country and anything else that follows is a 'Palace tribute act' is also fvcking irritating.
  12. The difference in attitude being two clubs are from a city used to getting what it wants and the other two from a city that has to work for everything it gets.
  13. Silent boycott until everyone else sings.
  14. Spoken like a true Notts Forest fan.
  15. I partially agree with Raj. I was in the away end and could both hear and see them in the opposite corner going for it all game. Fair play to them but unfortunately they're let down by the rest of the stadium not making a peep.
  16. I think flags should be a more personal thing. All flags (with the exception of the main UNION FS banner have been paid for by individuals who have designed the flags themselves. Personally I think that's the best way - ensures that they are all different.
  17. http://1.ftb.al/zNTc/0HYWWfwFGq More coverage in 11 Freunde, one of Germany's best football mags. Haven't got time to fully translate but broadly compares us potentially winning the league to Ingolstadt doing so in the Bundesliga (which I find BS given Ingolstadt have no history and are completely bankrolled by Audi, would be more like Kaiserslautern 97/98 in my opinion), covers Jamie Vardy's rags to riches story and says that we are giving everyone hope in a money-dominated era that the sport isn't completely broke. Nice read
  18. What's the point in winning trophies if you aren't going to sing about/celebrate them?
  19. How would you have preferred him to a respond to such a blatant wind up attempt? Other than not at all, which I would agree with.
  20. I'm not a fan of Bochum but some of the early comments in this thread have been made to look pretty stupid.
  21. Only two teams in Europe's top five leagues have lost fewer games than us... PSG (0) and Bayern (1). Barca, Napoli and us with two defeats.
  22. Really nice to hear some people on here took the opportunity to see what SK1 was about, nice one! In fact there were loads of new faces up there which was good.... Most around me didn't make a peep though, which was bad. Fingers crossed for better vs Stoke but I would say if you enjoyed it, email/message Union FS and ask them if they can help relocate your season ticket!
  23. Depends how far round it went but my thoughts were because or ground is bowl shaped, there'll always be some people in G1 who were blocked. Having said that, if it went from level with byline (G1) round to in line with touchline (SK1) that would surely work? Good vid from Copa90 here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bKX2AWhl7X0
