given how Bournemouth look to be struggling so much against Brereton Diaz, I don't think they're as good as people are making out. which makes the inevitable laboured 2-1 defeat even worse
-
Southampton come out much better this half. Hope that gives their board pause to keep him for a few more weeks
-
god, I'd say that we at least just need to be better than 2 other sides because Southampton are buried already but you just know when Brussel gets the sack that we'll drop Cooper and get him in
-
Coopers got all the authority of a substitute teacher on the last week of term, needs to be send packing

he doesn't though, because to him this is the way forward because we're not losing many, and the ones we do he can blame the ref for -
man doesn't understand why people are asking for a foreign manager when we've got one in charge already
-
Newcastle have as well
-
Don't say that, otherwise we'll see him dropped for Ward

hence the "worst person you know" picture. The last 4 years she's spent attacking LGBT people at every turn, to the point that two lesbian staffers in her office at the time resigned citing a hostile workplace. She's been indistinguishable with the likes of Badenoch on the "culture war" topics.

See, the problem is that people think that not playing possession football is somehow pragmatic. Pragmatic football isn't a style, it's playing to what you've got available and what is infront of you. This isn't pragmatic, it's as dogmatic as Enzo was, except Enzo was dogmatic about a style that actually suited the squad he had to pick from.

our average shot distance at 18.5 yards is the longest in the league so safe to say it's not gonna be particularly well positioned -
down to 17th, chance of being in 18th come 10pm tomorrow...

I mean while yes, the players have to take some responsibility, whether we hold out or not can be made drastically more or less likely by the managers tactics. While Cooper isn't telling Justin to kick it out of Hermansens hands, or for Coady to just dive recklessly into tackles, he's creating the situations where that happens by putting the wrong players out there and asking them to approach the game in the wrong way

and with the exception of Maresca, who was head hunted, and dare I say Puel (Tielemans was the missing part of the puzzle for his side imo), they were right to go when they did
-
Rodger Schmidt. three of those games are after an international break which is a fortnight to free up the team from the cooperball malaise and get the handbrake off
-
pretty sure housekeeping operative means Janitor so definitely that
-
so when we lose at Southampton and Ipswich (because Cooper can't set up a team away from home for toffee), and maybe just get a draw from Bournemouth and Forest, and are sat bottom and winless with 10 played, what then? why waste 4 games against other bottom 8 sides for the sake of reaching some magic number of games where sacking is ok
-
I'd settle for not struggling to get a point at home to Everton tbh. I'd settle for not being 20th for xGA.
-
I'd suggest not leaving bright attacking players on the bench and giving them just 4 minutes in successive games in order to accomodate old man Ayew for a start.
-
His tactics were shit and it was a generational performance from Hermansen just to keep it at 4.
-
I mean, we do have a squad capable but 16th is something of a false position, unprecendented that after 5 games, 6 sides would be winless. Could easily be bottom 3 come Monday 10pm and it's where we'd deserve to be on performances (our xPts would have us 19th).
-
Only Newcastle, Man City, Arsenal and Us have scored in every single game. When we've gone behind and the players have had to abandon this Abersywth Allardyces crimes against football and actually go for the game, we've looked able to challenge in this league. It won't happen unless we get a manager who is prepared to actually utilise his squad properly rather than having his good attackers playing 3 minutes a match while Ayew and Reid can stink the place out though. He's creating a siege mentality by just blaming the referee 24/7 because he needs distractions from his god awful tactics.

Hardly surprising that the people who still use facebook are of the league one mindset, that's where we were when it was last relevant tbf.
