  1. Definitely wasn’t. Beaten by his winger every time he was taken on.
  2. We need a starter and a back up. Thomas 3rd choice
  3. Both are not good enough at this level. There’s not much between them in regarding who is worse tbh. Both need replacing.
  4. That’s a terrible plan really. Only one of them was ever good enough on paper to be consistently relied upon (Ricardo) and he’s had too many injuries now to be able to keep up with fast, intelligent Championship wingers. The others are just not good enough to consistently perform well at Championship level. They will have the odd few good games but in general LT, VK and HC will all have more bad games than good. We are as weak as any team I’ve seen in fullback positions and that can also be said with our centre forward positions. That’s why we are mid table at best.
  5. I think Silko looks like he has some promise tbf.
  6. Realistically he’s always been a concern for most Leicester fans even during that early part of his career mainly during lockdown when he had some positive moments. He will continue to have some good games because let’s face it, he’s a professional footballer. His inconsistency though is the proof that he’s a professional footballer playing out of his depth. Drop him down to League 2/National League level where his opponents will be less capable and less consistent and he’d be fine. At Championship level he has more bad games than good. We’ve seen the proof and Boro fans won’t disagree.
  7. Some surprisingly strong ratings today considering the shit show that was 4-1 to QPR. Luke’s done very well to get 3/10. It was pretty much 2’s all round except the subs for me.
  8. Only positive is a goal for Silko Thomas. Well done lad.
  9. He was as bad as everyone else in that first half. Anonymous and gave the ball away. In the second half he was much better but the game had gone, QPR had put their feet up and he still managed to get Ricardo booked with a hospital pass.
  10. I don’t think Marti will get the sack because Top isn’t interested in the team anymore. Never watches the matches. Plays polo, stays in Thailand. Doesn’t give a shit.
  11. What minute is Ayew getting sent off? I reckon 57 minutes.
  12. If Top and none of his row turn up how can the club expect the fans to turn up? The owner can’t be arsed so why should the fans. Lead by example Top.
  13. Getting schooled by the Japanese lad tbf.
  14. We are so desperately poor at left back. Thomas is not championship level. Sometimes he’s ok but it’s the inconsistency that shows him up. He’s a liability for more games than he’s an asset. We desperately need a quality player in that position in the January window.
  15. To say that him jumping ship after just one season has nothing to do with his personality is a bit of a stretch. Personally I have no particularly strong feelings for him to do well, reflecting his opinion of Leicester City!
  16. I reckon ELK for all of his flashy touches actually blocked the position for two players who would’ve had better end product in the number 10 role. Buonanotte and BDCR.
  17. Cooper didn’t initially play Fatawu and when he did he played him on the left hand side. He underused Mavididi too and wasn’t managing Ricardo’s fitness. He dropped him after a poor showing in a pre season friendly and then barely played him. RVN was a terrible manager for us but Cooper was too.
  18. Lots of credit to BDCR this season. Thought he was generally poor last year but he was constantly played out of position on the wing. This season he’s grown into being an influential number 10, not in the ‘in your face’ style of a Maddison type, more like a Mason Mount. Not necessarily doing lots on the ball, but intelligent, particularly postionally, with an eye for a layoff or 1-2 and with a fabulous finish in his locker. When Rambo is fit we’ll have two very effective and quite different 10’s at this level who can rotate the start and finish depending on the opponent. 👍🏻👍🏻
  19. A great performance v Derby, a very grating performance v Brizzle. We are desperately short at fullback. Thomas was targeted second half tactically - not for the first time this season.
  20. I’d take laurel & hardy, Jekyll & Hyde or fkin Jedward over a front two of Daka and Ayew.
  21. Daka nearly hitting a 2/10, he’ll be happy with that. Tbf that tackle he put in on Ayew at the end there was truly iconic.
  22. Thomas got ripped apart on the left second half. We generally looked unfit and lackadaisical. You could see James was running on empty but bringing on Daka for him and asking BDCR to go into midfield initially was a bad call. Daka in general is a liability, his terrible non performance was capped off by that tackle he made on Ayew on the edge of the box. AFCON can’t come quick enough. It’s the only way Cifuentes will accept that Patson is not the answer.
  23. Can it play up front? Can’t be worse than Daka.
  24. So you just ignore the perfectly legitimate strikers goal he scored then?
  25. No. First goal was assisted by JJ. Skipp scored the second (so couldn’t assist) and 3rd assist was Thomas.
