The fact remains, including this summer we are in transfer net profit - and that was to get in line with PSR. The reason we now aren’t buying is also because of PSR.
-
Add 50m net transfer profit 25-26. Now do the maths.

And they put a splint on the leg

I think Monga is better off the bench at the moment. Our best left wing option is Mavididi to start and Monga to finish. Occasionally switch it up by starting Monga and finishing with Mavididi.

The game changed after Skipp was subbed off and James moved into his position. James is a much better footballer than him and that’s reflected in how differently they play the 6 role. James is a creative player who hunts for the ball and is strong defensively and offensively. Skipp is disciplined defensively but offers minimal creativity. Playing James deeper also means we are way more creative as we then also have Reid on in the 10 role. That being said it was definitely Skippy’s best game for us since Palace away last season. However, he was also still comfortably the worst midfielder out of him, Winks, James and Reid.

Tbf McLean is a veteran central midfielder (who has never been blessed with pace) who is playing out of position at left back.
-
Cifuentes needs to help himself even if he prefers two deeper midfielders by moving James deeper and playing an alternative 10. James offers so much all over the pitch and Reid (or even Ayew if Reid needs subbing) needs to be trusted to play the 10 role.

Norwich 1-2 LCFC, post-match thread
funkyrobot replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
I got on to BDCR last season as he looked slow on pace and low on physicality but at this level he looks quality. He absolutely changed the game today. Great goal and some great through balls. James MOTM but Reid ran him close and Winks excellent too. -
Ricardo is having a shocker by his standards today.

Teams are only as good as their Striker

I remember those heady olden days when we’d put in 1, maybe 2 crosses in a game. -
Realistic Managerial Replacements

Close to being sacked? Gerrimin! Nothing shows more ambition than appointing a recently sacked manager. -

And yet he also loves standing off players allowing them far too much time to cross or progress into the area. A strange combo that makes him a defensive asset and a defensive liability often within a matter of seconds of the same game. -

Dreadful distribution? You wait until you see more ‘Begoball™️’ in action. He’s old school with his kicking. -
He’s always at the games in the pre match warm up tbf. Replaced Stevie Bauser in that role.

Marcal is in the last year of his contract. Presumably James’s option to buy on his loan this season is linked to promotion. Otherwise it would’ve been an obligation. So James won’t be here!

Julián Carranza joins on loan - Official

EVERY Championship team I’ve seen us play this season has better centre forwards than we have. -
Not sure I’ve worked it out from this thread but I think people are saying that the accounts mentioned are both loyal fans and not happy clappers. Or bots. Let’s have more confirmations just to doubly confirm for the OP 🤣🤣😂😂

Would be interesting see if his stats back this up. For me a passenger with almost no influence on the game. Disagree that he had more touches on the ball than Soumare. He barely touched it - Boro absolutely dominated us and in part it was because our number 10 was having to do so much dirty work to cover back. James and Winks had to do all the heavy lifting. I often agree with Pipes but on this occasion I don’t see it. On Saturday I’d move James backwards and put Ayew or BDCR in the 10 role.

A good manager can see hard work can’t hide a poor footballer and will get rid of both as soon as they can. Daka will leave at the end of this season and Skipp will find a home in League One (maybe with us.)

Rarely there these days. Supposedly has a more hands on role now he’s taken over Whelan’s position but doesn’t turn up for games. If he can’t be arsed how can he expect the fans to.
-
Interesting to see that Top’s more hands on role as CEO doesn’t result in him being bothered to watch the team. AGAIN. At least for Cifuentes’ sake it means he can’t do a Marinakis. You actually have to attend a match to make a leaving early statement Top!

We create almost nothing, we don’t look like scoring goals and can’t keep clean sheets. It’s a Yes from me!
-
He contributed almost nothing other than holding a position on a pitch. Like a mobile football training cone. He’s a central midfielder who avoids the ball either on purpose or because his reading of the game always puts him in the wrong place at the wrong time. He’s the Anti-Ngolo Kante!
-
I’d play Mavididi in the 9 role on Saturday. Given up on Daka, Carrenza and Ayew in that role.
-
Onfield spectator again today. Barely touches the ball. Doesn’t influence the game. James had to put in so much leg work to cover for him. Just holds a position whilst the game goes on around him.
