Have you got any stats to back any of this up or are these facts opinion based? BTW Your paragraph that I’ve highlighted in bold is certainly not true for me!! I was football obsessed as a kid and I’m exactly the same now. I wish it did mean less now but it doesn’t.

He was one of the worst players on the pitch on Saturday. Very lucky not to be hooked at half time alongside Bouba. I think he’s been generally poor this season but he was certainly a vital player during our European campaigns and was for a good period a statistical freak when it came to winning the ball and breaking up play. Miles better than almost anyone else in the prem. A combination of injuries and time have reduced his ability and football has changed - It’s no longer good enough just to be a destroyer. I think it’s time for him to move on and I’ll certainly remember the original Ndidi who filled the giant whole Kante left so valiantly for a long time.
-
ELK is a good player with the potential to be a great player but for me he’s not done enough to earn a move to any prem club. I personally think he’ll be with us next season - anyone splashing out the £25m- £35m we’d expect would be taking a risk based on this season.

Thanks mate, appreciate a response that gets what I’m saying rather than some responses that have got loads of likes despite falsely claiming I wanted him to fail when nothing could be further from the truth. I think Alves is an absolute baller and I hope he can achieve the heights that we all expected of him before that assault at Wolves.
-
Why couldn’t he have got experience here with us?? He’s better than Reid.
-
If he’d been given game time here he could’ve. My point has been throughout this thread that Alves should’ve been given way more opportunities here this season. It’s another failing of our club that whilst we are stinking the league up, and rinse and repeating non performances from Reid we have to send a creative player out to the disaster that is Cardiff City to get some experience. And what has he got from it? Dropped from the starting 11 and a relegation to League 1 on his record.
-
I could throw it back at you and say, in light of his lack of game time at Cardiff compared to the game time a failing Reid playing in his position got here at Leicester, AND the fact Cardiff were relegated, based on what metrics was the loan a success?
-
The player initially and mainly at fault was Ndidi. He found himself closest to Ait Nouri as the ball went to the full back but decided not to track him so Ricardo who was close to Cunha had to leave him and try to catch up with Ait Nouri. Ndidi instead jogged to get back into a central position without ever making any effort to catch up with play.

I get Faes is the pantomime villain but I’m surprised there’s not been equally scathing analysis of Podcast Coady for his performance v Wolves in his own thread. Terrible positioning and defending for the 2nd and 3rd goals.

Ricardo injured. -
My point is he could’ve done that here. He’s better than BDCR irrespective of his inexperience. When you look at the minutes Reid has had here recently and throughout RVN’s time, that could’ve been Alves.
-
It was a poor loan. He should’ve got game time here. 19 year old Will Alves is twice the player than 32 year old version of BDCR.
-
I’m the exact opposite of wanting him to fail. Look throughout this thread and I’ve been praising him. My point, which you have completely missed, is loaning him out to a club like Cardiff, struggling in The Championship is no better and probably worse for his development than keeping him here. I would’ve given Alves game time at Leicester.

I don’t know if you’ve got one of them new fangled portable phones? I’m told some of those now have cameras on them as well. Worth checking out?

Trying to get sacked, same reason Rodgers persisted with Ward.

17% manager confidence is massively punching for a manager with the worst record in Leicester City’s premier league history. I can only assume Ruud and his family have foxestalk accounts. -
Presumably injured again
-
I think most fans of other Premier League teams will have seen the worst Leicester City team to play them this year because this IS the worst Leicester City team that has played in the Premier League since it was formed.
-
Eh? So you want us to get relegated and relegated again until we have fans who only cheer and support when the team are playing well? Err no I don’t want that. I’d rather focus on the owner, the management and the players. They are the ones that have caused this, not some fans who clap rubbish performances.

Great loan experience for Alves, rather than not being trusted to start and relegated from the premier league with Leicester, he’s instead been not been trusted to start and relegated from The Championship with Cardiff. An absolute dream loan move that will have worked wonders for the lad’s confidence. 🤪

If RVN is still here next week we’ll definitely lose against Southampton. Sacking him might give us a chance of not finishing bottom. If he stays we’ll be caught by The Saints. -
3 years of 32 year old Bobby De Cordova Reid, even though he was a free transfer, is a crime against humanity. He is however just pipped to the worst transfer since 2016 by Danny Ward. His presence in the side 2 years ago was ultimately why we were relegated. His selection v Newcastle and Wolves started the terminal rot this season too.
