I hope you're right but frankly I'll believe when I see it, if both of those go at a minimum then Brownhill becomes more of a signing I'd like, but I'd still prefer to see Winks, or Hamza come to think of it, as well

I'm not expecting them to e starters but I want to see them getting regular minutes off the bench, that won't happen if we have Brownhill, Hamza, Skipp, Winks, Ndidi and Soumare in the way I don't expect Hamza to be playing right back that much when the league season starts. If Page agrees to sign a deal then gets a good loan to league 1 then I have less of an issue signing Brownhill before we manage to move others on

From that I'd take him but I worry about blocking the likes of Page and Braybrooke if 3 from the other 4 aren't moved on, Page is still to sign his pro deal as well

if we are about to sell 3 from Winks, Skipp, Ndidi & Soumare then great sign him up if not he's not needed

if we're not paying any wages to him to make up the difference then take the £2m and start working on getting rid of the plank and sideshow Bob

even if we end up paying him the difference until the end of what would be his contract here it would still be a significant saving and worth doing
