The huge question is who is responsible for the Skipp / Ayew / BDCR deals…. Has Cooper suggested Skipp? Was the brief to Glover “find me two experienced PL wide attacking mids” If Glover came up with these transfers aligned to a strategy given to him by his boss (Rudkin) who was responding to a request from his 1st team manager (Cooper), then Glover takes no blame at all. Whatever the truth, you can be sure that Rudkin is in Top’s ear blaming someone else

I have a friend, a successful wealthy guy around 60, that goes home and away, and “gets behind the lads, rain or shine”. He genuinely thinks he’s a “proper fan” / “loyal supporter” clapping and singing however poor we play, and however badly the club is run. He hears me moaning about Top / Rudkin and shakes his head (a bit like Top did actually) and looks down at me from his superior supporter pedestal… He really can’t see that he’s the problem!

It shows confidence in your ability to be open and transparent. It’s why LCFC does the opposite

It seems to be one of those manager etiquette things like not singling out players for criticism, or speaking in a weird present tense when referring to the past …. You don’t say you were promised X until you leave. I dunno, I’m clutching at straws that something will happen to trigger a change!!
