  1. We had Jagiellonia Bialystok in the round of 16 but went out 4-2 on aggregate which is not a horrid effort again. It feels underwhelming given some of the teams we've beaten, but they're not a bad team to be honest, better than you would think. In an era where even then the Belgrade clubs offer little in Europe, let alone anyone else, this was some effort. It would've been nice to have thrown everything at them but the league situation was becoming a bit critical. I did think even if we dropped we wouldn't be in a terrible place, but it's such a massive step back to take which should never happen. I thought we finally had that win and clean sheet away at Radnicki Nis, but in stoppage time, the dreaded equaliser arrived. This team just feels immune to winning. Following this were narrow defeats to TSC and IMT. What was really bizarre was we just never seemed to get hammered. Bar one collapse at Cukaricki, we hadn't lost a game by more than a goal all season. We had a goal difference that was around 0 due to a couple of big wins early doors, we'd drawn loads and lost 1-0 or 2-1 so many times it was beyond belief. These losses were a huge worry for me going into back to back games against Vojdovina and Partizan. But finally, finally it arrived. Vojvodina seemed to be our saviour this season and we finally held on for a 1-0 win. Our first win in a miserable 16 games and our first clean sheet in 19 games - absolutely horrific stuff. For a team which rose on its defensive solidity, this was a massive kick in the balls. But at least we had something. Obviously we'd lose 0-1 to Partizan. But they're walking the league and the performance wasn't horrid. April was where we finally showed something as we made it 4 wins in 7 games, crucially beating Radnik Sudurlica 0-4 (who were also right down there) and Napredak 1-3 with two injury time goals. In May we kept 3/3 clean sheets with the most dreadful 0-0 draw at Macva Sabac on the penultimate weekend mathematically securing survival. A tough and largely miserable season. Seriously special how you can win 8 games out of 33 and finish the season with a positive goal difference. Plenty were out of contract and plenty were on loan. We were given a, by Serbian standards, enormous budget of £3mil for the new season. We've earned this. Lets get a good team together.
  2. Also - I'd be intrigued to know if anything happened to those involved in that video at Sheffield United this season. You know where there is actual first hand evidence of wrongdoing. I'm not calling for those involved to be banned necessarily, but I'd find it very interesting if they weren't. That would suggest blatant bias that you could only possibly link to their allegiance to the ownership. They were doing it 'for' the regime so it's fair game.
  3. I've been pretty public about it and I did think I would have some backlash but I've actually had basically nothing - even somebody on here who particularly seems to have it in for me was sympathetic. 32 years old so pretty much bang on there. It's quite a tough distinction to make for me because I don't think it's like... instruction from the very Top to have me banned (although who the **** knows at this point). But I think the bans that me and the others got were a symptom of the rot as much as anything. My point is I'm unsure if it would be overturned with new ownership and I'm unsure if there is really any precedent for anything like that. After all it's a club ban rather than an FBO. The current ownership have no incentive to unban me because I genuinely am not going to that ground again or giving them any money until they have cleared off.
  4. It can only be something like this, at this point.
  5. Yep. He's shit until proven otherwise. Crap track record and plenty of red flags - I'm not pussyfooting around this shit anymore.
  6. There's never been anything like this in football ever. I'm convinced of it.
  7. I agree with this. I wish every non-league club in Leicestershire well and I'd love to see one of them make the EFL (although at this bloody rate they'll pass us). But it could apply to any of them and that's in itself the problem. I have no particular allegiance to any one of them in particular.
  8. You can't. This town ain't big enough for the both of us. Sportswashing in its purest form. Phoenix club.
  9. There isn't room for both of us. We need an alternative club.
  10. I wouldn't get your hopes up. Chris Davies or Lee Johnson. And they'll be shit obviously.
  11. Biggest decline you will ever witness. Worst owner in England.
  12. If he is, then he'll be straight out of here.
  13. I completely get your point and maybe there is an element of this. But I still think the biggest issue has been nosediving form of my goalkeeper and everything else just seems to have followed. We're bad for getting done down the flanks and teams scoring cutbacks against us. But this seems to happen regardless of system. I play both an aggressive high line system, and a deeper low block. The same issues seem to arise. We were never 3rd in the league for ability but we're underperforming this time around. There is no doubt about it. I think we need to simply get through that season without dropping, which Napredak's dreadful form gives us a decent chance of doing, and then rebuild massively in the summer. We will have the 3rd biggest budget in Serbia - even if we go down.
  14. Just so, so fed up of being gaslit. What the **** have those two got on everyone?
  15. The only one of this lot I won't wish the worst on.
  16. In a season of extraordinary incompetence, he takes the crown as the worst of the lot on the pitch. Thomas and Ayew have had better seasons. **** off and never come back.
  17. He's ended up becoming a net negative.
  18. There's nothing. That's the only answer.
  19. I'd rate that 2nd. Tottenham 2025/26 might pip that to 2nd though.
  20. I felt exactly this. They chose to get relegated. They really did not try this season until it was too late. They could have kept themselves well away from this. They chose not to.
  21. In terms of the full picture. In terms of the collateral damage that comes with it. In terms of output on the pitch compared to the wages paid off it. Sheffield Wednesday are likely to finish the season on negative points. But this is not the point. They were doomed from the off. What they have produced on the pitch this season has not hurt them as a club because the damage was done way before a ball was even kicked. Has a club had a more catastrophic, damaging and ruinous season than this one? If so, who, and when?
  22. The fact our players feel empowered to say this after this season. That tells you everything about the monster we've created here. He should be binned off, obviously. But he feels despite his part in arguably the worst season any club has ever had, he's able to decide if he's sticking with it or not. What a joke.
  23. Fascinated to see how they manage to downgrade for the fifth time in two years.
  24. He wont go until hes forced. Do whatever it takes.
