I never want to go there again. That end in November has put me off forever. -

Barrow or Harrogate for a new ground please. -
I know it's only the small things but Ward being number 1. It's just wrong.
-
Please for the love of god let him leave permanently if it means I never have to read somebody online pretend this bloke is Zidane that only the enlightened can actually see. Why can't there be a club who are as daft as these people who would pay good money for him?* * Other than us

remember the last one. You're banned from transfers but by the way here's a year to get anyone you need in first. Looking at the last two years this is probably the best thing that could happen to them.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

Our line of defence is genuinely "we didn't plan to be this shit" hahahaha, surely this can't actually work? -
Tottenham (H) - Mon 19 Aug 8pm - Pre-Match Thread
Dan replied to lnkstern's topic in Leicester City Forum
It's a terrible opening fixture in its own right. Spurs the kings of performing with the pressure off, started exceptionally last season. Side full of players who love a goal against us as well, add in Maddison The links in the last few days are of slight more encouragement but this is a comfortable loss. 0-3. -
It was around that bad run at the start of 2022/23 where my faith in this ownership completely collapsed. Barely believable level of underperformance and we just plodded on. There seems to be this assumption at this club that things just work themselves out. I think we fully bought the rhetoric that we couldn't go down and it would be an unprecedented level of underperformance required. That was correct, but that doesn't just fix itself, you have to take steps yourself. The faith has never come back either. I'm not fooled by promotion last season. It would've been further groundbreaking incompetence to not get promoted last season. Comparable to something like when Newcastle went down.
-
This is completely correct but I was here two years ago, Rodgers out, Rudkin out. Rodgers practically sacked himself months, arguably years after he should've gone. Largely because of Rudkin and Top's unwavering faith in him despite the absolutely blatant reality that he needs to go. This is on Top now. This is him. I'm as Rudkin out as anybody but I think a large part of the hate he's started to get in the last year or so is because people just can't bring themself to say it about the one who truly deserves it most.

Oh he always had a mood on him complete loss of pace would feed into my concern. Just one of those things we'd find out down the line.
-
The only reason I think you could be against signing Zaha is the possibility he's had a complete tail off as a player like Bertrand did when we'd signed him. If he's anything like the Palace player it's a big coup in our position. He was the best player of a side who hardly had a relegation battle for years.
-
This looks a good deal. We only have to make any big commitment to it if we stay up so not really any risk we're lumbered with a dud (unless we do stay up and he's just a big flop in the process but pretty unlikely). We're quite well covered on this one and there's a potential gem in there too. Yeah good move. I'll take.

I saw them earlier getting praise for getting a free meal on the coach to Lens even though that's specifically a deal DFDS, the ferry operator, give you if you travel via a coach. How do you even compete with that? They're untouchable in this fanbase no matter how much they **** the club up.
-
****ing ridiculous. We've completely killed him as a player. He was great as a destroyer and we seem to be obsessed with making him something he isn't. Keep him there doing that job, what he's good at. We should've released 100% if this bullshit is the plan for him. None of this is pragmatic. Pragmatic implies there's some sense behind it even if it's not aesthetically pleasing. This is just complete rubbish, it's how I'd manage Forest if I got the job.
-
Drove to Lille back in 2018 and thought exactly this at the time. Genuinely easier.
-
Parker has not managed a Premier League game since those comments. Bournemouth stayed up against the odds and then have properly built on it, now people would be quite surprised if they went down this season. They're a club who've got their shit together. Fair play to them.
-
It's the same with O'Riley. For me it's when a player is just blatantly, abundantly too good for the level he's at. This appears to be the case with both Ioannidis and O'Riley. I'm as doom as anyone about us atm but this would be a good signing. Everything we don't have in attack.
-
Was just thinking how inevitable it is he ends up at Bournemouth.
-
It's impossible to give a description of that performance without thinking its hysterical. Genuinely as bad a 90 minutes as you'll ever witness.
-
I'm there now. No regrets. New ground. Not a bad away end, their fans quality. Novelty trip. I can't let football on the pitch dictate everything now. We're so amateurish at literally every level that my expectations have been eroded to a point I almost see the funny side. 2022/23 was harder to take because it was fresh. This is just us now. An amateurish, unserious club run by people who have no love or care for it. At least every loss is a black mark against them as well.
-
We're the worst run club in the Premier League and it isn't close either.
