He's probably made the most impact of any signing in the summer so far to be honest. He's a good player to bring on. I think a lot of the criticism made sense - I maintain we're the only club in Europe who'd have paid as much as we did for him at his age and I don't think he should be starting games, but he's definitely got his uses and he's come up trumps in our two biggest games of the season so far both in injury time. It's hard to knock that really.

He was an absolute mess yesterday. He's very hot and cold.

Him using Maresca's system is proof to me he has no actual plan of his own. He's not got a clue.

Gray isn't a bad comparison in that sense. That's exactly what I fear - he plays himself back into favour and then just serves up what he has done in 90% of games for us. He is infuriating because he does do the odd thing which he looks really good, but it's very infrequent. That was genuinely an excellent bit of play for our goal though.

I'll likely get panned for this but not a good outcome. I think it's a massive paper over the cracks job even if there is the obvious elation of another late goal (which is a good habit to have). Thought we were good for the first 15 and absolutely rancid until their red card. I think they were really poor, lots of hustle and bustle but very little quality and I'll be very surprised if they stay up. It's good to stop Ipswich getting their first win but I don't rate what Cooper's doing, even going back to Maresca's system is to me a sign that he's not really got much of a vision or idea of his own and that he's very much winging it - because I don't attribute what he did today to any sort of good performance. Southampton and Ipswich will go. Then it's us, Wolves or Everton. For me it is probably us - I expect Wolves to change manager soon and have some sort of upturn and I think that'll really decide our fate. I think if we changed manager we'd stay up but I just don't think we're going to until it's too late. We've had two big strokes of fortune in our two biggest games. I don't think it's sustainable. Performances have got to seriously improve with that next six games.

I think we'll go. It's happening again IMO - bad manager not doing quite badly enough to get the chop while in the long run we're playing at a pretty bad level. Hope I'm wrong but I think it's going to bite us. We've had quite a lot of luck.

Completely agree. Whether people liked Maresca's football (I was a bit tired by the end) I think what you had to give him some credit for was that he saw right through the higher-ups and he was willing to take them on for what would've been to the clubs benefit. Rudkin's luck is just ridiculous that Maresca ends up getting an offer to leave just as soon as it looks like he's really getting somewhere. Notice as well how hardly anybody actually speaks of the higher-ups any more. It's all Cooper. Cooper does need to go but it's a perfect decoy for them.

It never wasn't last season. Just masked by playing in a league we were laughably more resourced in so the wins were always likely to come - in that league through our own ineptness of course. It's hard to get angry anymore. We demonstrated two years ago the single most disgusting incompetence you will ever see and nobody paid a price for it. When their floor is that low I don't know how people expect it to be any different. Cooper is a symptom of the shite above him. Get them out.

It's just symptomatic of the complete drop in interest and standards at this club that Ward is still able to get competitive minutes. Zero ruthlessness at the club at any level.

In fairness when they first went up to the Premier League their atmosphere was the best in the country comfortably. It's a fair point. I went to a couple of games of theirs a few years ago with a mate who supports them, Championship games against Swansea and Rotherham and honestly I've had this fear ever since that it's what we could become if we aren't careful, and I really do fear we're on the road to that to a degree. Though I do think our fanbase is quite substantially bigger than theirs so it can never quite dip to that - but anyone who was there last season will know what I mean. It's a depressing place for a home fan.

Newcastle and Barnsley are great for this.

Non-league is good and I will never knock people who go to it but there's no chance it scratches the itch that I had growing up - like I say I think a lot of it was based on naivety. I went and watched Scarborough last week as I was up there for the week and I did genuinely quite enjoy it. It's not a slant on non league at all.

Honestly really caring. I don't think it's any single one thing. It's a mix of games being dull, atmosphere being bad, ticket prices, VAR, the club's behaviour etc... I could name absolutely loads of things but maybe it's all just age and becoming wise to these things. Football fandom has definitely already peaked for me - although as a Leicester fan, this is bound to be the case.

Nobody else is bad enough. There aren't three worse teams than us. One Wolves win and we'll be heavily odds on to drop again I think. We're doing exactly what we did last time - getting results at just the worst time to keep a bad manager in post which in the long run will relegate us. Just obviously happening.

He's awful. There is no need for him ever to be on. The tolerance of shit like Soumare is exactly why we've dipped as a club. Zero standards. Zero demands. Meanwhile Forest manage to shift their crap for good money and are able to buy better players off the back of it.

The three who came up will go down.

This again is a byproduct of what the club are 'really' after.
