I think the biggest concerns I have about Rowett are that his supposed strengths are pretty similar to what Cifuentes' were - being organised defensively and Cifuentes didn't have them close to looking organised. If he could actually achieve this, then fair play to him, but I think that is far easier said than done.
-
Been thinking this - I think we'll already by down by the 10 year anniversary.
-
My god we are ****ed aren't we.
-
We've already lost 2-1

I've just listened to this weeks podcast and there's a little segment about Leicester at the end - where they acknowledge that they completely missed this bit out. So you are spot on - it's even worse than they said it was.
-
Says it all about where I see the club now that I don't hate this. Good luck to him because my god will he need it.
-
Been listening to the podcast he's on for a few weeks and think he comes across quite well. This isn't me saying I'd want him here necessarily, but what is so bad about him? The majority of the digs at him I read seemed to be based on him being posh and the Brentisms during the series. What did he do so wrong at Sunderland and Charlton? In both of those instances I see clubs who were run into the ground and are now doing relatively well, even if it wasn't necessarily him who has taken them there.
-
Where's he said this? Merson's actually quite canny on this kind of thing.
-
Yep - genuinely far more distasteful than anything I've seen from the other 'side'.

I hope people are braced for the following as well, when this purgatory under Aiyawatt is over: - The new owner carrying the can for all of it. - All of the inevitable unpopular cutbacks and tough decisions that Aiyawatt hasn't made being the fault of the new owner. - "This is what you asked for" at the above. In some ways I think in an ideal world we'd have a Steaua Bucharest situation where the club basically broke into two with one backing LCFC and the other backing King Power. A proper rivalry formed. Everybody would be happier.

He wouldn't last six months at virtually any other EFL club if all that is true. You get rewarded for it at Leicester though.
-
Echo those saying leave the Vichai statue alone. Absolutely nothing you can possibly gain there.
-
They won't stop. It is a cult. Not even exaggerating anymore to say it. When Bromley beat us they'll be blaming the EFL. There is nothing left to prove. These idiots lost their arguments years ago. The problem is the more they get their way, the more we all lose. Luckily this lot won't do a great deal beyond bashing a clapper and posting slop on facebook so I highly doubt they will drown anything out.
-
You only have to compare it to Blackburn - one of the most miserable clubs in England with hated owners. And they're still well ahead of us in this regard. There are no words to describe how inept this lot are. It should be impossible to be this bad.
-
It makes me so, so self confident that people like this exist.
-
No I don't. But I do think we'd have dropped off a bit. How much though is very open to debate.
-
All fart no shit. Four losses from four since we pandered to 'Winksy'.
-
Correct. We showed how small-time we were that day. We acted like he was bigger than the club. We've continued to do this with an ever decreasing quality of player now.
-
He was trying to get the sack. It's the only plausible explanation.
-
The whole thing was extraordinary and the fact our board couldn't see he was trying to get the sack revealed everything about them - although if you look at their antics in the last 12 months in particular, it isn't surprising. They are as incompetent as you can get. Genuine 0/10.
-
And a lot of that squad are either still here, or only recently left, despite offering basically nothing. Rudkin and Aiyawatt are bigger problems, but as a manager Rodgers was absolutely catastrophic for us in the long run.
-
Would unironically take Warnock at this point. I just can't watch this happen to King.

Southampton 2-1 Afterthought FC, post-match thread
Dan replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
On the end of the most humiliating possible loss and presented with an opportunity, immediately, to get one back over them. So obviously they go and lose again. They have absolutely nothing about them whatsoever. Absolutely nothing.- 145 replies
