There really is zero hope for us at all if while we're covered at goalkeeper and have one of the worlds midfields in the Championship that our priority is an injury prone goalkeeper.

Our lot thinking goalkeeper is a priority would be incomprehensively stupid but you really wouldn't put it past them.

Didn't know where else to stick this but Brian Barry-Murphy's made a very good start at Cardiff. 3-0 up tonight (admittedly against a dreadful Cheltenham) but 13 points from his first 5 games with just 1 goal conceded. Has signed only a goalkeeper, has promoted a load of youngsters into their team. This is not meant as a pop at Cifuentes but I do wonder if the answer was under our noses particularly when he'd just spent a few months here and would've known already who the bad eggs were, while Cifuentes has had to learn it all at quite short notice.

As I've said since pretty much the start he's got to start making real demands of those above him. I give him some pass for the lineups because he really has been dealt an appalling hand but he's got to demand a better one and if he doesn't he won't be of any use.
