I'd normally be a bit more patient early into a season but that's because early into a season you usually have new signings who are bedding in. We already know this lot and they still look complete tripe.

Great post. This is often forgotten. This is a knock on of the clubs uniquely bad communication. I seriously question those who aren't questioning things.

I think he's complete rubbish but that is literally his one route to any sort of respectability for me, if this is true.

It's the cycle of decline we're stuck in. Rudkin performs terribly with no risk to his job, we get worse, he occasionally does something 'OK' and the bar for what is seen is 'OK' has come so far down that people don't even realise it. I'd be interested in hearing a situation anything like the one we have with Rudkin. There is literally no level of performance he can put in that would get him out.

Based on one half against the worst side you could possibly face at this level as well. Circumstance favours him annoyingly though.

Sell him and El Khannouss, late into a window with Rudkin leading the charge I think we'll do genuinely well to make the top 6 and that isn't even including a deduction. I'd normally be for trying to take big money but this would be total sabotage. Would create a fresh swathe of toxicity as soon as a new season started. Another manager screwed over as well.

Winks? Daka? El Khannouss? Literally nothing, not a single thing happened here for about three months after we got relegated and as a result we will be on the back foot and scrambling around. We will then panic and make stupid decisions (like Edouard) and rinse and repeat.

This happening in mid August would be very typical of us - we seem absolutely obsessed with hindering ourselves and making it harder than it needs to be. Where the **** were all these links two months ago?

I got one last season for something I didn't even do and I've still got it now. That is what they're like.

I'm somebody who generally believes in selling to reinvest and if we got an offer of something crazy like £50mil you'd probably have to take it - but I really don't think our hierarchy would even be capable of getting the deals in to make use of that money and we would only end up throwing in the fire which our consistent decline is spreading. If we sell him we will not go up, it's everything we don't need.

That would be typical of us - develop another clubs 17 year old for them over our own.
