  1. Yeah exactly that. You got me.
  2. Away games should just obviously all be standing. We got better for this in recent years but shit if it's turning back to how it was.
  3. I think the fact we only took 2,600 to Preston is a massive show of discontent - a very rare Saturday 3pm away game, our first of the season in the league, at a ground no less that we've very recently had a memorable night at that you would think would only encourage people to go again. 2,600 is appalling and it shows how much the credit has run out - we'd have taken easily double that two years ago.
  4. true. I'm not quite convinced it'll quite come to that but after Saturday I don't think it can be completely discounted. It's a poor team with weaknesses throughout it. That a side like Preston can expose it so simply. I keep saying it I think extremely little of us at the minute and even I thought we'd just win games like that on quality alone. It was alarmingly bad.
  5. Preston in the context of everything was a new low for me. They'll finish anywhere from 14th-23rd this season and they've beaten us at a canter. Even Plymouth, Millwall, Bristol City etc... really bad days but a little bit unfortunate in all of them. We were lucky Saturday was only 2-1. If that's our actual level and not an off day, make no mistake we are in a relegation battle. But the other two games give you no confidence either.
  6. Kind of true actually. We always win at the most damaging times in the long run. A win here would probably be enough for our board to think it's another clocked off week and we're all OK.
  7. We were nowhere near this bad, and we weren't great.
  8. Changed my mind. More I think about it the more I think 2/3-0.
  9. Good for you. I'm sure you'll win this one.
  10. Exactly this and frankly even Tielemans I don't remember doing it so brazenly as this. Winks is damaged goods. He's got to go. This week should be hectic for us. I bet we get something like 1 out 0 in though - despite the fact it should be a minimum of 3 each.
  11. We came 5th the season before they took over.
  12. That game was simply embarrassing and a disgrace. Comfortably second best to a side largely tipped to struggle who stayed up last season on the final day. It wasn't like the Plymouth loss under Maresca, as bad as that was, which was genuinely a bit unlucky despite everything. This was just rank, a terrible team exposed by an average at best one. Frankly a bottom three level performance. I doubt even someone like Stockport would've served that up. We really are the absolute dream opposition for literally anybody. The illusion of a good side but one you'll get a tonne of joy against. Imagine how emotional Nathan Jones is going to be when he beats this complete rabble next week.
  13. Give Nelson the next 10 games - we already know this lot are shit.
  14. Yes - and it's time to really go after KP now. It can't all be Rudkin.
  15. He's quite overrated by our fans. He's tidy but he does get a bit of a free pass at times. Not productive enough, yet.
  16. Absolute nothing player. Can't believe I still have to endure some people say he's good.
  17. If he's here next season I'll be gobsmacked.
  18. He's a super talent. It's such a shame he's come through now and not about five years ago.
  19. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Always laugh at these sorts of suggestions but I can see the logic - he literally can't do worse than someone like Soumare.
  20. He's the common denominator with managers as well. Hasn't he fallen out with Nuno, Mourinho, Conte, Cooper and Van Nistelrooy? Looking good for 6 in 7 as well here. We're in such a bad position here. He absolutely needs showing the door but he's our least bad midfielder. It's depressing.
  21. I did think when people were saying we'll still wipe our arses over the rest of the league they were missing quite how different it is this time to last. Last time we had Hermansen, Doyle, Coady (I know but arguments sake), Casadei, Ndidi, Yunus, Dewsbury-Hall and Vardy. I've probably missed someone. That's a hell of a lot of that side gone. We've got a worse goalkeeper, we haven't really got anyone the same as Doyle, Casadei would start for us now (and he wasn't great), Ndidi was obviously still our best midfielder. El Khannouss is a neat footballer but he's a mile off being as productive as Dewsbury-Hall even at this level. Nobody's getting near Vardy's 18 goals. And then you've got players like Winks, Vestergaard and Mavididi. The circumstances are different for them this time around. There was a freshness with them two years ago that simply isn't there this time around. Look at how it's turned for Winks. The midfield is the root of it. It's a major problem now. Soumare seems to have this ability to do something neat every now and then that gives him a pass for the fact he can't defend, he can't create, he can't score. A totally useless and ineffective player. Skipp, I knew we'd overpaid but I can't believe he's this bad. He's just bizarrely terrible. He wouldn't start for someone like Oxford based on what I've seen for us. Then you have Winks - he's better than the other two and he's done more for us than those two, but he's clearly a bad egg, he clearly isn't happy here. He's got a very inflated opinion of his own ability for somebody who just went an entire season without starting in a win. You need all three gone and three bringing in, but there is virtually no chance of achieving this with these people running the show. We're in for a really miserable season and this is going to be the case until the owner leaves. If people can't see it now they simply don't want to. He oversaw the most voluntary relegation in Premier League history and made absolutely zero fundamental changes off the back of it. He lost me beyond repair after the summer of 2023. Everything that's happening now is what I thought would happen and I would say under him we are likelier to leave this league to League One than the Premier League. I really do think he's that bad.
  22. It's a shame that statement - I'd have more of a word at your team mates myself.
  23. The most damning thing for me is I don't think it would look much different under Van Nistelrooy. Which begs the question, where the real issues are. I'll give him some benefit of the doubt, for now, because he is new and because of those pigs 'running' this club he's playing on the back foot as they ****ed off on holiday for three months. But make no mistake if he isn't ruthless about this with the piss takers (which is genuinely >50% of the squad unfortunately), and isn't demanding severe action from the board then he'll lose me. We need a strong character and this would prove he's not really it.
  24. I think it of both us and Southampton - both have suffered pathetic declines, ours even worse, and both grounds are just really timid, the occasional boo but nothing that's going to make the players think "shit, I need to buck my ideas up here". It's all so tame.
  25. Extremely obvious narrow loss.
