We don't play counter-attacking football.

Pre-Christmas dose of Noro virus and now man-flu. The family have stuck me in quaranteen in the front room. Dinner on a tray.

... or Southampton.

That statement really did sum up the attitude at the time. Some of the so called experts could only just about acknowledge Leicester City as Premier League champions through gritted teeth. So many downhearted and confused when it dawned on them that's it's not just about certain clubs and players. Whatever happened to Crooks and Lawrenson? Not that I give a flying one.

Never on this scale though that I can remember. I don't recall huge blocks of the stadium being empty even when the game is on a knife edge.

I'm not sure if leaving early would get us home any earlier. Usually depends how long we stay in the services. I quite enjoy the drive home listening to the late kick-off commentary and the phone-ins. It's really not worth getting angry. Interesting to hear why some are just so desparate to get away for so little gain when surely it's a place you want to be. Copycat, Fomo or something, probably. I don't like it whatever it is.

He's right about showing off the trophy. We need more recognition of our history and achievements. Not even sure if we have a trophy wall for the players to walk past like most of the other successful clubs have. Our honours board is very impressive, one that most clubs can only envy. The club should be doing more to celebrate, inside and outside the stadium as well as Seagrave.

I don't get the travelling a long way argument. The lad and myself travel a long way but all the more reason to stay and make the most of every minute after making the effort.

Rotherham (H) 3-0 - 23 Dec - Post-Match Thread

Not great was it from the Ipswich fan. Taggs was saying the ref should've blown early during the stoppage time as it was just going through the motions. That maybe the case but it doesn't mean the ref can decide to cut it short -
I actually felt guilty not turning up yesterday. Woke up at 4am chucking up and felt like I'd been punched in the stomach by Anthony Joshua. Noro virus, apparently. Couldn't get off the bathroom floor for a while. Grim. So there were two empty seats in C2 and no way of passing them on. Still wiped out now but hopefully will be fine for Huddersfield.

Doesn't mention regrets about not taking the Southampton job? Clearly thought he was too good and would walk into another top job somewhere.

Hope that you are right It's a good test of their mentality. This is where our depth of squad should start paying dividends. What guy?

You know that's not going to happen. Footballers often can't get themselves up for games like this. They will have more than half an eye on Boxing Day and just go through the motions. Sometimes that's not enough when the unfancied opposition are fully motivated against the league leaders in a nice stadium and big crowd. Could be a frustrating afternoon with patience in short supply if we don't get an early goal or two.

Perhaps worried that we'll be infiltrated by scores of Rovrum fans

Will be very useful if McAteer, Yunus and Sharky are available. Rest our star wingers and unleash on Ipswich.

Straight from BBC Sport page, live updates... Juppster: Leicester should have been down to nine. Two yellows for Mavididi and a straight red for Fatawu. This is the least Birmingham deserve.- 375 replies
